Good evening all my frugal friends :)

Keren - I won £50 in January from premium bonds after saying I was getting rid of them but have had them for a few years and not benefitted from them when compared to what the money could have been doing.

Bails, great news about kitten and the 'no breaks', although it's a pity about the fees. Have you considered a 0% interest credit card? Pay fees in full and then meet the minimum monthly payments until the final pay-it-all-off time arrives?

Marru, have you checked all your heating appliances at home in case there's a leak anywhere that could be causing you to fall asleep as easily? Or dare I even ask, could you, err, be, err... you know... pregnant? Whispering that one in case you send me a virtual clout around the ear. :D Whatever it is, take care of yourself and be careful. We don't want you wakening with QWERTYUIOP imprinted across your forehead :)

Jumble - the Galab1ngo freebies are available every Thursday (for the full 24 hours). Not sure how the cashback works if you have already had a bonus payment via a sister company. I think Coral owns Gala but don't quote me on that one. Also, most sites meet whatever you pay in at the start but expect you to play through your own money before you can start withdrawing any future winnings or receive the cashback. Good luck, whatever happens.

MrDT good luck with the underspends, hope you have saved loads. If nothing else, we try our best to keep you at the screen for so long you don't have time to spend money :D

Mini - a sickie for bingo?  You could always call in the morning and just say, "I've BIN GOing to the loo, feeling ill. all night, and think that spending a FULL day in the HOUSE would be safer than sitting EYES DOWN at your desk feeling rotten. :rotfl:

Off to read some more catch up posts now :)

Oh Nyk, thank you so much for the laugh. Since separating from DD's dad (well since the relationship started its deep down hill) there hasn't exactly been a queue outside my front door of candidates. Truth to be told, the older DD gets the less likely I want to start again. I guess it is just doing some online playing (not for money, for points) late in the evenings recently that is catching up on me. Very immature and irresponsible - I know.

Yes you are right Coral and Gala are linked. When I joined Gala I was warned about that.

I just heard DD sneaking downstairs to watch TV, she should be in bed. Once I went downstairs to get her and she said she hadn't finished watching TV, what did she have on? East Enders!!! (I never watch soaps for single reason that I can't understand a word they are saying!)

    Have a great evening all!

    HI,

I know this is completely off subject but I shall post it anyway as there are lots of animal lovers in this thread. So please look at this link. Thank you.

    Hi everyone

I've spent £1.78 this week, since Monday, so I'm feeling good. I was back at work so I took youngest DS to mum's so he got well fed and spoiled rotten. He even commented on the way home that 'nannie eats healthy food'. I was pleased that he was aware enoght to notice. She cooked me to exening meals which was great as I was warn out. DD and DH away too so just me and I had 'eat ups' all week.

On the downside petrol will be more as it's a 100 mile round trip x 2.

I won £50 on premium bonds - I always hope it's a big one as I open the envelope and turn over the cheque. I'm still down on what I would have got in intrest, I needed another £100 to break even

Tomorrow is digging day so I can get at least something planted on my lotty. I'd be ashamed if mine was on a public site in full view - luckily it's one of only three and very private

Are you all talking about bingo on line or going? A girl in the office won £400 the first time she went last week. She was a sudent and has just started her first job so she was a deserving case.

I changed internet this week too. Down from £24.99 to £7.50 and still my friend told me how I could have got it cheaper - but DS2 is happy as he says it's supper fast so it will do for the year.

Once again I spent more on cat food than human food. Feeding a nursing queen is no joke. And two of the kittens ate real food too today and then one of them used the litter tray and then they both hd a little wash. Isn't it wonderful how kittens know just what to do?

    Good night
Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me
