Oooohhh Fizzel, that's excellent news above your love life; give us the gossip, how did you met?

    Hello All,
Hope everyone is well and on target for this month...not so for me I'm afraid, I've totalled up my spends for May and I've had a bit (what an understatement!) of a disaster.
Total amount available to spend: £335.62
    Total amount actually spent: £522.26
Total amount available for June: £308.95
Oh dear, failed miserably...totally blown my budget!! bomb.gifbomb.gifbomb.gifbomb.gif
I think I will now join whitewing and mrdt for a nice glass of wine to cheer myself up!!!

    failed miserably

    Hi there everyone

thought those of you shopping for 6 months might appreciate this

    Hi Shaz,
the photo is amazing, makes me feel I should be storing up enough to feed the five thousand! What does LDS stand for?

LDS would stand for Latter Days Saints. A church that most would know as the Mormons. Members of the church call each other brother or sister e.g Sister Brown or Brother Smith.
The Latter Day Saints are very into self-sufficiency, and storaging food, a very family like group. Storage like in the photo could be used to feed the whole church in times of need.
My family and I were members through most of my childhood. We were self-sufficient - had an allotment and large garden full of veg. Bred chickens and rabbits for the table and sold the surplus to fund the household e.g gas, electric etc and anything we couldn't grow e.g cornflakes, milk etc
It was a great novelty to go to a supermarket!!

Hmmmm...bit of flirting going on, I see...............(I've forgotten how to, if I ever knew).

Now, where's my wine from t'other day? I may join you for a glass, Mr DT (unless yours was last night in which case I'm just catching up on the thread)

It was last night whitewing... and the 'glass' was actually a bottle. Oh, and some rum to follow lol :rotfl: Personally, I recommend sticking to just a glass of wine ;):o

Just out of interest, why do you keep starting over?
