    HI!

I have just come back from the college and I have passed both the assesment and the interview and I have got a place to start two year diploma course in animal management in September!!!!! :j :j :j

Just saw my neighbour she gave me some birthday cake (chocolate) and I told her that if she can hear thumping sound that is me jumping up and down from joy. :rotfl:

I am off to have a very late lunch with chocolate cake for pudding.

    Marru

That is great news, Marru! Well done! :j :j :j

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who posts - this is such an interesting, supportive and encouraging thread :)

CA - very sorry to here about your job

NYK - be wary of any notion that goats are money saving. My parents had a small holding - most of it, plus a my dad's decent income seemed to fund my mum's numerous goats. They seemed to cost a silly amount to keep.

Oh that's fab news Marru, well done! :j:T:j:T:j:T And I would second what Prudent said, what a great thread and bunch of people this is!

Sadly I won't be able to participate in the bingo tomorrow due to the funeral - it's quite an extreme length to go to I know ;)

Hi Mumzi, tomorrow is one third of the way there, so for a £5000 budget that makes it £3333.33
The bingo is as per the free bingo threads. Some of use decided to try Thursdays on Gala and we've had a couple of wins amongst us. :)

Prudent, thank you for your concerns. I've kept goats & reared lambs before, so no panics about being shocked by cost of keeping them. I used to be on a small holding, hence reason we had the horses, ponies, chickens, goats etc. :D Wish I was still there but circumstances change regardless of what we do.
