hello .. I have a question and hope someone out there can help me out. I know it stated that you are only allowed to book for a room for a night for £1. I jsut wonder can I book the room twice in seperate time (like one room for May and another room in June using the deal) Any idea, anyone?

Unfortunately not - You're only allowed one £1 room in the whole of the offer period - in this case from 1st May to 31st July.

However you are allowed one £1 and one £29 in the same period so if you're really quick and really lucky you could manage to get two rooms for £30 total.

I phoned the Hoxton earlier this week just to make sure that this was still allowed as I am hoping  to get two consecutive nights this time around, though really not holding out much hope as it's hard enough to get one!, and they confirmed that this is allowed.

The other option is to get someone elses credit card and try and book 2 £1 rooms with the two seperate credit cards - the cards must be in different names tho ie you can't just use your own two different cards.

I've just been on the Hoxtons website and found that you can only have 1 child in a room with 2 adults, so if you've got 2 children you need 2 rooms and as your only allowed to book 1 room for 1 night at £1 that rules most families out:o .
Oh beggar. is there no way round this?
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...

Well, you could try and get a £1 and £29 room on the same night. At least some of the rooms have interconnecting doors (of course I only know this is the case for the room I was in), so you could have a double and a twin next door to each other...if you're fast :)
  • Anyone got any tips? Do you have to confirm the booking from midday or can you only book from that point on?

Yawn. You need more than good luck to get these rooms. It's a ruise to get you to want a room, and then buy a more expensive one instead.

    Thanks for the pointer though.

I'm sure a few people have already responded to this, but anyway:

It's not a ruse. It's just a brilliant, brilliant offer. There's no such this as a free lunch - but there is such a thing as a night in a really nice hotel for a quid...
If less is more, think how much "more" more would be.
