Transport for london says 16 minutes. Here is a link- http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en&sessionID=JP03_2695106838&requestID=1&tripSelector2=1&itdLPxx_view=detail&tripSelection=on&command=nop&calculateDistance=1hope it works- I set it for the middle of great eastern street- there should be links at the side, and it also shows how to do it with a bus ride and a 11 minuite walk. The actual hoxton area feels safe, its just that old street station is a big underpass under a giant roundabout and comes up in an area that does not seem to be that nice- but having said that, I don't really know. There was lots of cctv. If I had elderly parents with me I would go for a taxi at night I think.davetaylor wrote: »Thanks for the advice. I'm a bot unsure now as my folks are getting on a bit. How far a walk is it from Liverpool Street Station?0 -

When you click on the normal rates button it doesn't want to load up.
Same thing happens when I try to do a test booking on the html site.
Anyone else hae this problem?
Hopefully they'll have these problems sorted come 12 o'clock
Just noticed i can't even access the site at all, probably too many of us doing test runs! Fingers crossed for 12 o'clock.0 -
Will we only be able to access the booking page from 12pm? Once the countdown clock has finished, will the £1 and £29 buttons come up? did this happen last year?0

No, you have to start from scratch at 1pm I believe. Use the links Blindman has posted (search this thread) for faster connection.
Thanks Blindman!0 -

Maybe we should all say what dates we are going to try for? May give us more of a chance. I am going to try for the 17th or 18th June.0
