Hi,
I want to book this for my parents. `i have a couple of questions.
Can I book it on behalf of someone else? Is it ok for my Dad to turn up if I book it in his name He clearly wont have the debit card I booked it under?
They want to stay for two nights, how much will the second night cost. it will be two nights, midweek in July?0 -

when you book add the night to it you could get it for 29.00 if you are lucky along with one fo the for 1.00 you could get two nights for 30.00 they probably wont notice when you check in give your name (your dads) then they ask for a credit card/debit card as a deposit for anything you add to the room like room service, films, etc the payment for the room is taken when you book you should be fine booking for your mum and dad just make sure its in a part of London they want to be in as the tube station is about 15/15 minutes stroll away and you have to go down a slip way which is fine during the day but I didnt like it at night as it wasnt very well lit and there were a few homeless there which put the wind up me a bit when we came home at 10.30 from the theatre cause I had a 10yr & my mum (elderly) with me0 -
There is another way to get there, up from liverpool Street which is not far to walk , but if you had Mum with you a taxi would be worth it and there are buses- look on tfl website journey planner.. I only discovered this yesterday when I was there on a £29 deal- I much preferred the walk the other way, and then we didn't bother with a travel card, just walked to the Tower of London. I think when you are visiting London its easy to get fixed on the tube map and not look at what the options are above ground. We had a fab time incidentally- they moved us into a twin room as when I booked it I'd booked a double, but then ended up going with my 11 yr old son. Went to 39 steps which I would really recommend.when you book add the night to it you could get it for 29.00 if you are lucky along with one fo the for 1.00 you could get two nights for 30.00 they probably wont notice when you check in give your name (your dads) then they ask for a credit card/debit card as a deposit for anything you add to the room like room service, films, etc the payment for the room is taken when you book you should be fine booking for your mum and dad just make sure its in a part of London they want to be in as the tube station is about 15/15 minutes stroll away and you have to go down a slip way which is fine during the day but I didnt like it at night as it wasnt very well lit and there were a few homeless there which put the wind up me a bit when we came home at 10.30 from the theatre cause I had a 10yr & my mum (elderly) with me
Good luck today- I'm torn between going for a £1 room or hedging my bets for a £29 one which seems more likely and was still fab.0 -
Hello everyone! this is my first post so thought i would say a quick hello to the forums before diving right in! Btw i have reading the site for a while now but thought it was about time to get a little more involved!
Any way question! When your booking the hotel room, you select your date and type of room and it tells you the price (atm about £99 a night) i am right in thinking that it will say £1 or £29 before you hit the "**Finish Reservation**" button or will it still say £99 when you book you just have to be lucky and hope you get one of the offer rooms?
good luck everyone

You always know how much you are paying before you pay- can't remember at exactly which point it says it. What does happen is that as you are filling in your credit card details, with a room in your basket, the room is sold to someone with quicker fingers than you and you lose it. So be patient and try to be philosophical about it- I'll be trying to take my own advice on that too.:oHello everyone! this is my first post so thought i would say a quick hello to the forums before diving right in! Thanks for the advice. I'm a bot unsure now as my folks are getting on a bit. How far a walk is it from Liverpool Street Station?0 -
Don't forget if you've managed to secure a room for £1 and you are planning to drive that there is no on-site parking.
on there FAQ page it says
What about parking?
The hotel does not have its own parking. We recommend the NCP in Finsbury Square where the hotel has a special rate of £1 per hour up to a maximum of £14 for 24 hours. To access this rate, please obtain a voucher from reception on check in. Please note this car park is in the Congestion Charge Zone which operates from 07:00 - 18:30 Monday - Friday and is currently £8 per day. For more information, refer to https://www.cclondon.comThe end is nigh0 -
If you've booked before will you get an advantage as your payment details etc will already be in their system?0

Just want to say im hoping so much i get one of these rooms!!! We stayed here about a year ago (full price) and even that was well worth it. A £1 room is such an amazing offer for a fantastic hotel like this.
Im keen to know if booking before helps too? But i can't remember what card i booked with so it probably wont help me anyway.0
