    Bump......

    Why?
    Gone ... or have I?
  • I stayed on Wednesday with my young daughter (6) . I was lucky enough to get a £1 room. Booked a standard double room. Asked at reception if they could put us in a twin room, none were available but they kindly put a little single bed in a double room.

Top marks all round to the staff and hotel.

I've looked at the T&Cs for the £1 rooms and it explicitly says no transfers or changes - but some people on here seem to be selling/giving them to other people. Does this mean name changed are actually possible, or they don't enforce the name rule?

AFAIK they don't enforce it but obviously this is at your own risk.
  • Is this offer opening again soon????

You don't NEED to change the name on the booking. They don't ask for any ID or proof of name when you check in - you literally hand over the printed e-mail with the booking on it and they check you in. You have to give a credit card for any "extras" but they don't even look at the name on the cc nor does it have to match the name on the booking. Name is never an issue. I've stayed at the Hoxton both under my own name and under someone else's (generously donated!) reservation.

  • Any ideas when the next £1 sale will be - I'm working on the theory that it'll be around early October to cover the rest of the year but can someone set me straight? It's my birthday in early Dec and would love to have a night in London with my Mum as lasy year was a write-off as she was in the middle of chemo so a girlie weekend would be fab!
  • I have a £29 room on 16/09/08 that I do not think I will be able to use. Can some one PM me if they want this.
