    Oh those poor people :(

I really dont know starlite, on the one hand, if he enters your property he will see that you cannot pay, but on the other hand, he doesnt have to honour anything so he could take ur comp, tv etc even if they arent worth much.

    What does everyone else think?

I think so! For a handmade blanket, i think a lot of people would pay. Why not just make one and give it a go, if it doesnt sell then you can keep it for your own bubba :)

Yes I'd like to know too..he sounded very genuine in what he said, and obviously it would be a waste of time for him to take away a couple of things that are worth barely as much as I am willing to pay.

As for the baby blankets..I guess it's worth a try. I have made some lovely hats too so will list them and see..worth risking a few pence for and I'd feel so proud to be bringing money in!

hide your comp tv etc etc in your neibours tomorrow for a few hours? say you had to sell your tv and comp a while back for another bill or debt??
  • Should you trust him ??????????
Well I really wouldn't just remember that once you let him in once he can gain entry again with or without your permission and you may not have a state of the art T.V or computer but he can be bl**dy minded and put a levy on them if he doesn't actually pick them up and walk out with them at that time and you can do nothing as you let him in
Alternatively remove the puter and stereo ect ect jewellery as not worth much but mean a lot to you ......before he comes then all he sees is the very basic living requirments and will be happy you cannot afford luxuries and accept the payment offer stated just rememeber he can come back and check without your permission until it is in writing payment plan accepted at said amount and you dont miss 1 payment ....also arrange date per month and pay a few days before so you dont end up a day late with payment after proccessing it as this can mean him visiting again

  • Just don't let him in. If the NDL and CAB say it, you can bet it's good advice.

Phone the NDL tomorrow morning and ask them what they think ... do whatever they recommend in my opinion.

Actually yeah, i agree, it isnt worth the risk of all that will come if you let him in.

Just ignore him and write to the debt company.

Def list your hats and blankets on ebay :) Not only will it maybe bring in a bit of money, but it'll give you something to do and be motivated about :)
