Hi going to xfactor auditions at newcastle on the 18th June with tickets from applause store doors open 4:30pm any advice regarding how early to get there to get in would be appreciated ,many thanks in advance :)
10.00 am if Cardiff is anything to go by. Hope you got in. Went for the afternoon one and couldn't get in. Reached their allocation. I checked the FAQs afetrwards and it does state the seat is not guaranteed but I think they should stop giving tickets out when they have reached the capacity of the arena otheriwse there will be alot of disappointed people. Wasted a day leave and 30 odd quid for two in rail fares so will never bother with Applausestore again.

Hi, update from the Newcaste Experiance X Factor, after reading some horror stories on review sites about Applause Store I have to say Im glad i didnt take any notice (we nearly thought about not going cos of the bad reviews) Anyway they were fantastic and mega helpful, anyway we got there in good time at 10am for the second session as worried about not getting in but they said come back at 12 as it was too early for the 4:30pm doors open, anyway we went for a walk to kill some time and next thing the guy shouts us and says we can have tickets for the first session if we wanted them and said after its finished just come back and queue for the second session, so we go in after about 1/2 hour for the first session and the second we queued about an hour, so we saw the whole day, what a fantastic day out !!! :) :j

went to the x factor auditions in Glasgow a few weeks ago - was an excellent show. We decided to go there early as we're not from Glasgow and although doors weren't due to open until 6pm, we got there about 3 and there was around 300 people already there. Joined the queue and although we had to wait around for 2 hours, they opened the doors early at 5.30 so everything went to plan. I know that at 5.30 when we were walking in to the studio, there were people just going to queue who got turned away
  • if you cant make applause store events do you need to cancel in advance?

If you want a good old guilty pleasure I got tickets for Jeremy Kyle pretty easy. By the end you do want to punch Jeremy though.

I like SRO Audiences the best - they don't charge, unlike some audience companies who offer a 'premium' service for a subscription fee. Audience companies are paid to find an audience - they shouldn't ever charge members of the audience for turning up.
Plus Martin (who runs the company) is really friendly and fair.

I was really impressed by Martin-There was a bit of an incident with some very blatent queue jumping for a really popular show people had arrived hours and hours early for. Unlike most audience companies who don't want to know -he dealt with it firmly and fairly despite a lot of nastiness and aggression from the couple concerned. Nice guy too.

Yes -too many no shows and the company won't let you apply in the future.
