Orchid dialler - problem trying to download routing table

Thanks again.
My initial routing table was set up for me so that gets me started. I'll have a play with a copy table so I can set up any changes that I want to make at a later date.0 -
if you have one set up already, it'll be a breeze for ya in the future0

I have just bought 2 of these boxes. I can't get either of them to dial home properly and download the routing table. I have the same problems Jem was having. I tried resetting the device as above but to no avail. I have been dialling and dialling but it just flashes for 30 secs and goes off again. Active routing column is still blank. I've spent hours setting up the table and now I can't get it onto the box. Gutted! Any ideas?0

are you replacing the handset once the numbers have been dialled??? ie you ain't holding the receiver for a while before replacing it.
Also, you shouldn't try and use the phone for a while after dialling home.
You also need to give the server time to update your info.
Failing all that, you need to email orchid and explain to them the problem, they are extremely helpful.0 -
my new orchid dialler arrived yesterday .I had the same problems as mentioned above . I dialled the codes mentioned here and I think it is now working ,My problem is I cant get the CW client software to work .When I log in I get a message cant connect to server work offline .The only way I know its working is I dailed my mobile and got a message from 1899 . 10p per minute .0

This message appears the very first time you use it. Once you go offline you have to change the settings as these instructions on P11

Did you do this?0 -
Aiadi wrote:I had a similar problem the other day but dialled later on and it worked without resetting or changing anything. It could be a problem from Orchid's end so just try and dial at a later time and see whether it would work.
I thought it might be at Orchid's end but having tried umpteen times in almost 3 hours I posted here, The reset worked and it dialled in first time. I've just updated the daytime times on my routing table and it dialled in first time again.
However it does seem strange that 4 boxes just delivered are having exactly the same problem.0 -
ok ,I finally got my dialler sorted .It would have helped if I had read the instructions in the first place .I have two questions ,Orchid have set up my dialler for me , Talk Talk for land line calls and one tel for directory enquiries should I have the one tel access code ( cant remember it at present ) or is 188111 ok for free directory calls .
Also Can I add 18185 to orchid .I didnt see it on the drop down menu .0 -

Unless you call a lot of people on TalkTalk during the daytime then Tele2 are doing free evening & weekend calls with no monthly fee until the end of this year, you then just switch over. Tele2 also don't have any call limitations like 70mins that TalkTalk have.0
