Late Holiday Bargains - Unbelievable!!

You mentioned DFW before and that is the airport that is nearest my folks, I thought I had mentioned that but looking back at the posts it seems I didn't.
I feel I should send you something for your trouble though so if you can PM me your address, we should maybe draw a line under it here.
I don't think I will beat what I have - the prices seem to change daily and the later I leave it the more expensive it's becoming!
I will book online tonight and see what the cheapest is I can find.
Thanks anyway Murph :-)0 -
Cheers outbidder
it's always nice to be thanked - I hope you get the deal you're looking for

Just wanted to say........thanks for the laugh! It's amazing how competitive blokes will become when beer is involved. By the time I got to post 21 I was laughing out loud.
Hope all goes well with the flights and If I ever meet Murph or Ice at a meet......I'll buy you a beer myself!Herman - MP for all!0 -
I'm back....... :A
And whilst I know its probably toooo late the best price I could get my hands on for the dates you wanted with BA was..........
£1,770.50
AND...if you left on the 13th and came back on the 8th (which I know is not an option with your holidays and stuff) its £ 1,352.50
I had another ace card as well.....could have seen about getting an upgrade with my "friends" at BA.
So Murphy....I hope you are enjoying your beers......I reckon I'll go get some myself a few to reward myself!!! :j
Cheers  ...Over and out.0 -
Please read this in the style of Peter Kay
Well surprise, surprise when the beer award giving contest is over, up pops Mr Fairy Liquid with his supposed 'best buy' - funny how he couldn't come up with the goods at the time
Well i too have been searching around and i have found an even better deal than that 'supposedly' found by Mr Icy Squid Lips (quick pause while i have a loooooonnnnnnggggggg slurp of my favourite Theakstons Old Peculier as provoded by Mr Outbidder - oh it's cold and very thirst quenching).
So here goes for 2 x adults & 3 x children London to Dallas 6p each.
Plus, my friends will let the family be upgraded to first class
Plus, Mrs Outbidder will have a new wardrobe provided for her by BA because i'm on such good terms with them
Plus, Mr Outbidder can fly the plane if he wants
Plus, if he does he will get a one way refund
Plus, if he does fly the plane he will get a pilots wage for flying
Plus, he will also get 21 days standby wage for the duration of the holiday.
Plus, you will pay no airline taxes AND all of the taxes raised on the plane will be given to the Outbidder family to spend on your holiday (less a small 'ahem' levy that will be passed on to Murphy The Cat to buy more Old Peculier)
Plus Dallas Fort Worth will be renamed as Outbidder & Murphy The Cat Beer Winning Top blokes airport.
Plus, George Bush has invited you around for tea
Plus, JR will chauffeur you around Texas for the duration of your stay,
Plus, George W.Bush will present to you your very own complimentary oil field.
Or you could always take up liquid mices paltry too late anyway offer:rotfl:
Have fun and don't forget - if travelling abroard, listen to The Cat;)
so stick that in your pipe and smoke it Mr Icebucket

p.s. Outbidder, this is what i could have arranged for you today, but of course it is now to late.
Sadly though, you would still have had to take your own butties on BA.0 -
Damn, if only I had waited just that 24 hours more I wouldn't be £1764.00 worse off and flying with AA.
I must bide my time in future,
I must bide my time in future,
I must bide my time in future,

I think you should all enjoy a virtual beer whilst I go see if I can get a refund, quite fancy the 6p fare...0 -
Again taken from Peter Kay and his Bullseye sketch
