I brought my sister back some fruit tea bags (they were individually wrapped) from a stay in a hotel, and she told me that I shouldn't as I was behaving like a chav.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I always get particularly excited when a letter arrives and the stamp hasnt been franked....................
Sad but true. For some unknown reason, every time an A5 envelope arrives it has NEVER been stamped, so yes I do look forward to receiving those!
I'm in that club as well!! It annoys me when sometimes they haven't been franked and the postman puts a pen line through it :rotfl:. When we get unfranked stamps at work I'll put them in my drawer and somehow they end up coming home with me...
I've just spent a quiet half hour or so neatening up the wrapping paper from the Christmas presents. I put it away and then use it to wrap the stocking presents for Santa the following year. I tell the children I send it to Father Christmas to recycle, that's why they have the same paper that they had last time. I do use new paper for the presents under the tree (although this is normally 50p in the sale :T)Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £148.59 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

Brilliant! I love that.:D0 -
kind of disgusting but using a mooncup instead of tampons and towels saves money and is green
(sorry if anyone finds this offensive)
Am I the only person who thinks that referring to women's normal processes as "disgusting" or "offensive" is rather misogynistic?
Referring to tampons, mooncups etc is no more "disgusting" than referring to paper tissues or loo paper!0 -

£50 a year is only £4 during each monthly cycle. Perhaps the lady has a heavier flow than yourself?
The Mooncup is a brilliant idea.
The best moneysaving tip re periods is to have an early menopause! (Mine stopped at age 43!)0
