    Hi all

Just wanted to alert people to the 5 day LA Fitness offer. I've been depressed and thought some swimming, sauna etc may help with relaxation and feeling a bit better. Anyway I went along this morning and it was great. I put my comments on the LA fitness post. I went for swim sauna etc and tomorrow am going to spend morning there.

    Best wishes to all

    Stressed! Argh!

I emailed the council to say that I wasn't happy with the way I was treated by the boiler repairman. He told me to just put paper towels down to soak up the water from the leak and leave it at that.

Two plumbers came to look at the leak today and apparently it is coming from under my bath and from the people upstairs, as mould has started to grow at the top corner of the ceiling in the bathroom. They have put jay cloths down for now and opened the window to ventilate the bathroom but tomorrow I will have to have my bath and toilet taken out and some tiles, the problem fixed, and the walls re-plastered as the plaster has swollen where it has been acting like a sponge. I was worried that it may have been caused by something I had accidentally done but the plumbers said that it wasn't and had most likely been like it for years but now it has started to get worse so that's why it is noticeable. If they cannot fix the problem I may be getting a new bath. Although a shower would be nice. :rotfl:

I'm stressed because I have not had a lot of people in my home making a mess before and I have OCD traits. :(

On the plus side both of the plumbers were gorgeous, and one of them knew a lot about goth music so we had a chat about Nine Inch Nails and Sisters Of Mercy. The other guy looked like Daniel Powter. :D Anywho, they were both really nice.:) I kind of hope they will be doing the work tomorrow as they are friendly.

    xx

You sure he wasn't a joiner in disguise? :rotfl:
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

    :hello: Everyone,

Hope all is well,I am ok :) Had a nice time at Mums and watched a bit of my Superman Movie with Christopher Reeve in :) It brought back memories for me as I have seen the 1st movie loads of times :)

I then went to a Gym at a leisure centre and I liked it as it was huge :) I went home on the bus and then posted my other dvds of Superman off to HMV in Guernsey as it was a duplicate order and I didnt want 2 boxsets the same :)

I then rang another leisure centre and the lady was very nice and said their gym was in 2 small rooms and then I decided to go with the first gym I saw,so rang back and said I want to go on the waiting list please and I am on it now,I have to wait until 4-5 months but that will soon pass :) the other gym only caters for people who are very sick and that put me off a bit hence it swayed my decision for the gym I had seen,I am not against sick people dont get me wrong but its for people with Cardio type problems who have to do excercise to make their hearts better whereas my heart is fine, its just my weight I have to see to :)

    love and light,

I hope you can accept a hug from a newbie shazrobo. I hope you are alright and safe.

Lady Morticia - I do feel for you. Do you have a contingency plan in place if you struggle to cope or people nearby that can perhaps you can call? I was attacked in my home and since then if I have to deal with strangers coming in I always have escape route mentally mapped out. The strategy is just my way of getting control, and if they are nice then it will be great to be able to relax a little.

:o I once had a washing machine repair man visit who was so absolutely gorgeous I was devastated when he said he couldn't fix it but just replace it. No return visits.

I'm trying to work up the courage to start taking my little bear to mums & tots. I was so bullied as a child, I find it hard to imagine him being happy in that sort of environment, but perhaps if I had spent time with children of my own age from early on instead of only really at starting school it would have been better. Bless him, he is always calm and never seems to be bothered by any stranger, so he will probably be fine. Anyway, he has slept in past the time to get ready for the group so I am off the hook this week.
