What exactly happened at A&E? Did they patch up your cuts etc?
The Triage Nurse stuck some gauze over my cuts that were still bleeding, and said the doctor would check them out and dress them, but no one else looked at them. So they didn't get dressed. Don't think they need stitches. I don't mind about scarring, got so many of those now, a few more won't hurt.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

feelinggood when you feel like endding it all remember and just think of what that would do to the ones you would leave behind, your family, friends and your husband/partner, think what pain they would go though - I know that its you in who is depressed but you must think what affect others would have to cope with.
You really should ask your husband/partner to stay home, get him to spend the day with you, show him this thread on how you feel, you two could go somewhere tomorrow.
You need to take a step forward that would be one
I don't want my husband to stay home with me, he wouldn't help. He doesn't deal with all this stuff. Its a 'friend' who I want to be with me.
And I know that me dying wouldn't be the best thing for others in the short-term, but in the long-term it'd all be alright.
Its probably selfish, but it just feels like there is no way out. I don't want to die, but I really don't like living.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Fg and SF - Sorry you're both not feeling good right now. I wish I was good at giving advice but all I can give is hugs and love at the moment. [[[[[[hugs]]]]]]
RBK - My skin is....shiny....very shiny. It's horrible and really greasy. It makes me look washed out and I always try to make sure my skin is really clean but it just looked dirty because of the greasiness of it. I think I will defo try the OCM.lol.

Didn't you speak to the duty psych or anything? They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Hi guys!:hello:
Morning cupcakes! How is everyone?
Just want to sayto alba37 - thanks for stopping by hunnie and joining in, angel. You're most welcome here hun.
Tiffy hugs for sazzy and her counselling tonight and to anyone else with appointments, assessments, counselling, treatment, meetings, work, anyone who's struggling or poorly or worried about loved ones and to anyone who might want one.
DS has just been let out to go to college, so it's just me and the interweb!
..........Hey guys.....
Can you keep a secret?
I HAVE FOUND NIRVANA!!!
Had to go to Asdaland last night at about 7pm and the place was overflowing with good-looking men!
THEN I FOUND REALITY!
They were all attached to even more good-looking women - and in one case, another man!
Oh well, back to looking out for a labrador with a man attached to the end of it!
Now I'm serious when I say this, good looks aren't high on my list of priorities for a partner :
- they have to make me laugh (Good Luck with doing that to someone from a depression thread!:rotfl:)
- their eyes have to be the kind you can get lost in(and looking in the same direction;) )
- they'd have to be able to reach my soul with deep and beautiful words and thoughts (''pass me the toe-nail clippers'' doesn't cut it!:D )
- they can't have more body hair than your average yeti - smooth-chested (and smooth-backed:rolleyes: ), with room to snuggle on.
- singing (but not in the football terrace style:eek: ) is optional.
- under 80 if possible, (although I'm not ageist;))
- and finally, (yeah right!), someone who isn't afraid of showing they care- but only about one woman at a time!:D :rotfl:
Now tell me, is all that too much to ask for?
.....I think too much don't I?:D  .....
Okay, back to business. Pull up a chair, grab some brekkie...
...and let's see what Tunasday brings us.
Safe journeys guys.
Much Love,

Wish me luck. I have to brave the horrendous weather...if I can even make it out the door. I'm feeling very anxious and my heart is racing.

Thanks Tiff!
I guess I didn't introduce myself properly, I'm 43, single mum, (1 son, 15) long history of mental illness, I live in Glasgow. I don't think I'll talk much about myself, but do understand what others are feeling and going through. I'm happy to listen and be supportive.
So, that's all about me! Hi to everyone here  I wish everyone well and hope they can get the help and support they need to manage their illness as well as possible.
A x0
