Does he do anything to help around the house or earning?
Running a house is a job in itself and very boring plus doing a full time job is very tiring - I don't know how other women do it either and I find it offensive when men earn twice as much as do half the work and women feeling guilty about not wanting to do two jobs:mad:
Why would she give you drugs? My old counsellor did say something very alarming - pills are given to women to make them more acceptable for men, to make them more cheerful and accepting of an unfair lot. Is it really a coincidence that more women are depressed than men, I feel women carry a lot of anger, I know there are a lot of angry men out there but society is more accepting of men being angry than women being angry.
Sometimes I hate being a woman, I am sure that runt of a delivery man would have been more respectful to my OH or son - I wish I hadn't have taken that delivery:mad:
Yes he does, he is a darling. He works long 8-6 each day with an hour of travelling as well. When he gets in on a night he helps me with tea if it's not done and I wash and he dries after. But he gets 3 days off a week and the first of these days he spends the whole day doig the washing, washing the floors etc etc so that the next 2 days off (when I am also not working) we can spend more quality time together. He also walks up to meet me from work with th dogs so they have been walked and then cooks our tea.
We both earn pretty much the same wage - there must be pennies difference!
She said I shouldn't have come off the drugs and I have tried counselling but to no avail so I think is pretty obviuous that she will do.
I often feel I would be treated differently if my Fiance sorted some things out. I sometimes feel because I am a woman and a weak one at that I can simply be brushed away.
Arrogant men make me angry. Doyou know what someone said to me the other day at work? 'I get paid more in one month than you will in a lifetime'
How shocking is that?? What right do people have to judge me when I am just trying to do a job??!?
Anyway heres to a good day today!

Hi, just popping in. Trying to take control a little of what is going on in my life. I sometimes feel I am watching my life through a window.
dawnylou - please don't take this in any way as upsetting, but I found counted cross stitch helped - you had to work out the stitches so much that you were focussed on that not anything else. It 'took me out of myself' (hate that phrase).
As someone who is devastated that they have just started yet another course of antidepressants, perhaps if you have the right pills for a short time then you can get grounded enough to get to the root of the problem? It might not be right for you, but it may be a useful tool to help you get better. I don't think that pills are really the answer in most cases, but they have been a relatively positive experience for me. I may be talking nonsense - ignore me if you think I am being silly. You will know what is best for you. I'm wishing you well.
Hugs to meyore. I hope you are feeling a little better.
Lady Morticia, I hope that you can get some sleep - but there have been some great insomniacs in the past - Shakespeare couldn't sleep either so while you are suffering (and it is awful when you can't sleep) you could, I hope, comfort yourself that you are in illustrious company.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Shakespeare performed well is absolutely fantastic!
Shakespeare done badly is very, very, very bad indeed!
I've been lucky enough to see Shakespeare performed in the open air in the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, which is amazing. They carried on with a performance of the Scottish Play through pouring rain, though the audience were under an awning, the cast got soaked!
Hope you manage to get some sleep soon.
Tulip - I hope you have a great day. I love reading your posts because they always seem so sunny.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
I've never seen any of Shakespeare's work performed.
I've only ever read his plays. "The Merchant Of Venice" is a particular favourite of mine.
