Hi Jen sorry I missed you yesterday. I noticed you had been missing from the thread the last couple of days. How are you feeling today? How's the dissertation coming along?.
Hi,
Thanks for asking after me... Ive been busy earlier this week and yesterday I just couldnt face the diss anymore so I watched I went into town and got some food in cos i'm out of most stuff - I bought some curly fries and two bags of sweets ... somehow though later I managed to eat both bags then spent the rest of the night watching TV and did nothing but lie on my bed and sleep, mess on the internet etc. I also decided that I am definitely moving out of this house as I have had it with my flatmates... the house is filthy and my do nothing to contribute.
Then today I woke up this morning and the room wouldnt stop spinning and I havent been able to do much as every time I stand I get dizzy and feel sick, ive also had a dull thuding headache all day and the diss is no further on than it was earlier this week... i really cant face it anymore. I know its rubbish and i will be quite lucky if it passes and I feel so angry about my tutor who has been absolutely no help at all from day 1. The women who I emailed last week regarding my options about possibly coming back next year and doing the year again with attendance etc only replied today. She was very impatient and said I should just submit it and she hasnt told me whether if i do that means I will be stuck with that mark as it the majority of my degree and if I do come back next year then I might be better just doing another diss (based on same research with a different tutor). I dont know how to go about saying this though without putting my foot in it wiith calling her colleague (they tend to stick together in my dept as past exp tells me of a previous incident with a tutor).
They also cancelled my counselling earlier this week, she is on a contract ending in June so I only have three sessions with her and now I only have two. But Ive seen others at the uni last year and I didnt like them, this one seemed to be just what I was looking for...
sorry ive rambled,
how are you?

Will be so glad when today is over - I don't like having off days and horrible people picking up on it.
I shall decide in the morning whether I am going with them for the weekend. I am disappointed my OH is spoiling what could be a nice summer in a nice house, so a break from them might help me or going away might cheer me up.
He isn't helpful when I feel under the weather, yes he does things if I ask him but I HAVE to blooming ask him, I wish he could do things without being asked to. I am wishing he was out at work all day so I can do my chores around the place and relax. It is hard work having him at home all day.
He can be distant when I feel good, so I might as well be alone - it bloody hurts. I shouldn't feel lonely and avoiding doing nice things to stop getting hurt, when I am with him all the time.
I feel I have to be in the right mood all the time to feel safe emotionally, otherwise I will get hurt emotionally. It tires me out!
I don't know if he is stupid or doing it on purpose but it is making me ill.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks huni.
They are and it's worse because I don't know what's causing this.
I have no choice but to keep working as my wage is needed to help pay the bills and mortgage.
He is being so wonderful about everything, but it makes me feel a bit guilty as I feel I should be able to get on with things. I should be able to go to work every day and help to run the household. Everyone else does it!!!
I had a course of counselling. It didn't do any good at all.
I'm all out of ideas now.
Got an appointment at docs on Monday night but all she will do is give me more drugs won't she?
Drugs are not the answer and popping pills won't fix me. I'm sure of this.
Does he do anything to help around the house or earning?
Running a house is a job in itself and very boring plus doing a full time job is very tiring - I don't know how other women do it either and I find it offensive when men earn twice as much as do half the work and women feeling guilty about not wanting to do two jobs:mad:
Why would she give you drugs? My old counsellor did say something very alarming - pills are given to women to make them more acceptable for men, to make them more cheerful and accepting of an unfair lot. Is it really a coincidence that more women are depressed than men, I feel women carry a lot of anger, I know there are a lot of angry men out there but society is more accepting of men being angry than women being angry.
Sometimes I hate being a woman, I am sure that runt of a delivery man would have been more respectful to my OH or son - I wish I hadn't have taken that delivery:mad:An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I know - the news even featured an estate in my town yesterday with a group of youths talking about why they carry knifves etc. It was quite scary.

HUGS meyore. Are you ok?
Jen, sorry to hear about the probs your having.
Feelinggood, are you ok sweety?
ccstar, hope you manaed to have a relaxing evening. I didnt see the ad you mentioned, or someone mentioned about knives but i saw it online and it sickened me. I live in south London, honestly, I worry about beeing in the street. I was on the bus the other evebning, the weather was lovely, the sad thing was, the streets use to be bustling with people, now it was near enough empty. Where I live, people dont feel safe due to the number of shocking crimes going on. Seriously, I dont think the advert will stop tenagers from gun and knife crime. Gangs are just getting worse and they are getting more and more. I wish I could move away, to a small village. I know I have just moved, the house is nice and everything, but im right in middle of ghetto land. Left right and centre people have been murdered.I have never witnessed stop and search yet the gangs hang around the street corners or by the shops.
I havent been feeling great myself. Feel really stressed, I have a sore throat and probaly going to come down with a cold.Im not suprised with the way the weather is.
Anyway, sending everyone big hugs.xx0
