You will! Unfortunately, I can't tell you if they looked ok, as I don't remember what it looked like. But I was so convinced that it was fake from the way it felt.

What did you do with the suspected fake note?i always thought shops got the police involved with suspect notes

It takesa lot of concentration to get past the feeling it gives you, but after 2 minutes, yeah I guess you could :D Must try that... :rotfl:

I gave it to the supervisor. The supervisor gave it back to the man  I have no idea whether the police were informed, but I don't think they were.

    Hi Lady M,

If it was mine i'm afraid i would throw the iron away,or anything electrical for that matter, don't ever take risks with water and electric

p.s. did you get my PM?

That's what I thought. Thanks hun. :) Irons are only about £5 from Argos so getting a new one won't be a problem.lol.

Just replied to your PM. :)

I'm going to go and have a bath now. Feeling on edge so need something to help me relax. Just wish I had some bubble bath in.lol. I think I still have some bath crystals in though so that should help. Mmm lavender! :)

    See you later.

ilgd huge ((((((hugs)))))) to you, I've only just read back the thread and read about Charlie. It's so hard making the decision to put your friend to sleep, but it really helps when you think that they are not suffering anymore.
You'd think I would have something less cliched to say but it is true,it was actually a bit of a releif when Floss passed away because I'd seen her in so much pain the day before.

sending you lots and lots of hugs

If an iron got wet (the cord and plug) about a month ago, would I be okay to use it now? When the leak started, my iron was right in the place where it was. :/ Would I run the risk of getting electrofied? I worry....

    xx

The cord's waterproof. The end of the cord that goes into the main unit will be sealed too. Irons get wet of course. :)

The only part you should be worried about is the plug end of it. If it's been a month, it should be ok. I'd open the plug and get in about it with the hair dryer though, just to make sure.
