OMG, you'll never guess what happened at work today!
It was nearly home time, and I was on the tills. And this guy came and bought some Ritz Crackers. He gave me a £20 note (one of the new style). I ran my thumb over it to check that the "Bank of England" writing was raised, and it wasn't . It also felt shiny. So I looked at it, and it didn't look right either.
So I called a supervisor, and he confirmed that he didn't think it was real! So I explained to the guy that I thought it was a fake £20 note and I wasn't accepting it, and then he was just like, "oh" and gave me another real £20 note.
But it was ever so exciting!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I'll have to take more care with the next batch. :AThey say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
If an iron got wet (the cord and plug) about a month ago, would I be okay to use it now? When the leak started, my iron was right in the place where it was.
Would I run the risk of getting electrofied? I worry....
