Poppycracker, I don't have any words that can say what I want to, I just want to tell you you're in my thoughts and I'm very sorry for your loss.

    Hi pc sweetheart!sLo_hug2.gif
Oh pc - I am so very sorry for the loss of Alex, darling. Of course, angel, I'm keeping you close to my heart, as is everyone else here, I'm sure.

first my Floss, now my Alex.
    What did I do?

As I'm a Tiff and it's all I know how to do, redface.gif, I just want to voice a couple of thoughts which may help now, but more likely help later on, I hope.

Please try and remember that you're in shock right now hunnie - so whatever you're feeling is the right thing to feel at any time.
It hits us all differently sweetheart and there's no right and wrongs about it. You do whatever you need to do, to get through.
You're likely to feel it come over you in waves hunnie and you'll experience every emotion there is going. And there'll be times when you just feel numb. There's also likely to be some kind of aftershock when it just seems to hit you, but that's nature's way of helping you start to grieve and to come to terms with it all. As with most things we talk about on here angel, there are no quick fixes but you've got a world of support and love on here, day or night, with your virtual family.

It's too soon to think of times to come angel, so don't even try. It's hour by hour for now hunnie. Rest when you can, try and get small meals inside you when you can, and drinks too. Let people help as much as possible and tell them to go home when you've had enough.
If you're really struggling hunnie, please call your duty doctor at any time - they'll be only too pleased to help.
Once you have your family around you, you can start to make decisions then hun.

You're a wonderful soul hunnie and it's brought me to tears because of what's happened. This is one of those occasions where any kind of tiffing isn't much consolation, or use to you, sweetheart.
I'm no professional angel, but I found a couple of (thousand!wink.gif) links, which may help at some point hun - if and whenever you're ready. I just didn't want to swamp you with information right now.

CRUSE is a national charity which will visit you at home if necessary...
    http://www.crusebereavementcare.org.uk/

Patient.UK has a lot of contacts and resources for various situations, which they say are given to patients by gps...
    http://www.patient.co.uk/DisplayConcepts.asp

    You asked a question hun.
    What did you do?

I'll tell you what you did, pc.
You shared a life with someone you loved and you made his life better because of it.
You were both privileged to have each other as a part of your lives.
In all the combinations that life can throw at us, you were together for them all.
What you did, pc, was everything right! And I honestly believe that Alex would want you to remember that.
We touch people's lives in a myriad of ways and it's devastating when we're parted in this way. But I think the real tragedy would lie in you both not having found each other at all.
Please know that you're never alone and that we love you dearly, pc.sLo_grouphug.gif

Hark at me - sorry sweetheart, I must sound a patronising old mare! That's not my intention hunnie, honestly.

But I will finish with an old favourite of Tiffy's...
Now, more than ever, please be kind to yourself sweetheart.sLo_hug2.gif
    Much, Much Love,
    Tiff xxx

    An Angel in Heaven

Angels are in Heaven watching over us

they are special to us in so many ways
they are there when we need them

we have only to look up to heaven and pray
that the angels will come down to us some day

For when we need them most they are always with us

in the mornings, during the night, during the day
and that for me is heaven in every way.

feel free to print out if you wish anyone :)

    love and light,

You were there waiting for me

You were there waiting for me of which I couldnt read the signs
I knew just one day that we might meet

In a street or walking up a hill

You never know where our Paths would cross

I thought of you each day soaking up the sun

But I never thought you would have gone

I wonder noone knew the reason why

Why did you leave so soon for that heaven in the sky

I bid you farewell and hope you find peace

and sleep well my love until one day we meet

again feel free to print this

ending was sleep well my friend but it was pcs Oh so put love instead especially for her :)

    Where do Flowers Grow

Where do flowers grow? in the ground or up above

in the garden, the garden of love

with water here and water there they grow so high

    until they reach the sky

they last forever as that is what I would like to think

thank you flowers for growing I think

    Katie :)

:rotfl:I occasionally have days like that. :)

My day was okay. Have a splitting headache now though. :( Going to the drop in tomorrow hopefully, and to buy a dress or something with the money I have saved up. I also need to save up for a new PC, because I fear that my laptop is on it's last legs, as they say. :( It will take me a while but I have decided to save up for a desktop PC instead of a laptop this time, as desktops tend to be just that bit more sturdier.lol.

I had a letter from DWP this morning, just about my money changing in July, and they said they are going to send me a cheque to cover 26th-30th April, but I have no idea what for, as my money gets paid into my bank so I don't know why they are going to send me a cheque as I don't think they owe me anything, so it's strange. They did it in January too. =/ Does anyone else know anything about this? I don't really want to cash it if I'm not entitled to it. =/

I'm going to have a bubble bath soon. :D

Tulip - Do I call you Tulip or Katie? .lol. Because I don't want to call you by your first name if you're not comfortable with that, so I thought I would just ask. :)
