Its about time trading standards or whoever looked into this refund scam. They all manage to take the money quick enough but always it takes like you have said, 3-5 days. Its a con and needs sorting.
    .

Stop talking rubbish, they quote 3-5 days to cover themselves, in reality its usually the next working day, ive had hundreds of refunds over the years from various places and its always been like that.

I had the same problem but did manage to force it open. The other problem is the padding its a nightmare to stretch around the trampette and deffinitly not something you could do every use. If I'd known you couldn't fold it for storage I'd have got the cheeper one. I also got a wind up radio/torch which i will be taking back as its rubbish.

Glad you managed to get yours together but like you say even if I got it together I wouldn't want to spend 1 hour every day doing it!!!! Where I have tried unsuccessfully to put it together it has got a little scratched etc... and like I said it is heavy and my local Tesco's (a bus ride away) is a Metro so I can't take it back there. My Tesco's Extra is a couple of miles away. On my invoice it does mention about returning heavy unwanted items via courier but does say that heavy items (which are NOT marked with a diamond shape) cannot be returned via store anyway and have to be returned via courier. This trampette IS marked with a diamond which means I can return it instore. I'm not sure then whether they will collect it via courier if it is marked as being able to return instore? I hope I make sense!!! I have been too busy to telephpone them this week and off to work soon but may ring them Monday (when the kids go back to school!!) What do you think:question:

It's not rubbish! It has just took 3 days for Tesco to refund me for an item that was out of stock. It nearly always takes 3/4 days from any retailer to process a refund.

    Oh ok. Sorry!

It does bug me though that it takes days to get a refund, they manage to take the money instantly but take days to get it back to you.:)

It takes seconds to process a payment and '3-5 days' for a refund. I call it a scam and a way of making extra interest. Thats how i see it, call it what you want, but however you look at it, its wrong.

I supose, in your situation, I'd ring them and explain. The description of the item is misleading and you want a refund. Fortunately I have room to leave it up, although I wasn't planning to. It's now in the conservatory next to the kid's trampette so we can bounce together but it might end up on its end in the garage when it gets in our way.
