Hi there, I just wondered which trampette you ordered because I too ordered a trampette with 50% yesterday via Tesco Direct and it arrived this morning (foldable one). My two daughters were really exited trying to put it together and I could see them strugglying so I gave them a hand!!! One hour later and very stressed and fed up I gave up - it was impossible to straigthen it once the clips were in. Telephoned the helpline on the instructions and was told that they get loads of calls about this and that it took two men to stand on it and sort it out and so if I thought I could fold it away to store it easily then I would be disappointed!!! I have now decided to give up with it as nowhere to store it made up (if I can ever put it together) but am worried as to how I can return it too. I don't drive and it is heavy and my nearest Extra store is a few miles away.
Hope yours is ok and and wonder if anyone knows how I can return it (easily and cheaply) as this is my first order with Direct (luckily most of the rest of my order is fine and a good bargain!!)
    TIA

I found this on the website:
    2. How do I return non-damaged items?

We hope you'll be more than happy with your Tesco Direct delivery. However, if you change your mind you are welcome to return non-damaged items within 28 days of receipt along with your invoice and original packaging, tags, labels and accessories in the condition you bought it in.
Some smaller items may be returned to a local store. These are indicated on your invoice. Please take the item and the invoice along to any Tesco Extra or Tesco Superstore where we'll refund you. See www.tesco.com/storelocator to find your nearest store.
We can collect most larger items free of charge, just give us a call on 0845 600 44 11† and we will arrange a return date.
Please note that the return must include all parts of the item(s) ordered, including free gifts, etc.
Tesco Electrical and Tesco Furniture Cover are eligible for a full refund within 45 days of purchase. Please read the full terms and conditions of cover for more details. Please read a summary of this cover.
The following ranges differ slightly from our standard returns policy: paints, oils, items with petrol engines (e.g. lawn mowers) & diamond jewellery. Further details on how to return these products can be found in our returns policy.

how on earth can quidco offer such high cashbacks? i fear it is just another slush around firm - paying initial commissions from accumulating incomes, mainly the first £5 of credit that they withhold? also reading the t*c's, there is no guarantee/indication when their commision gets paid, and therefore your cashbacks, AND its all tracked by 3rd parties so QC (and you) have no say / control over what you get, anyway?

this may be totally unfounded, and i apologise if so.

Are you in the right thread?

Anyway, if you are then here is my take on Quidco....

There is no guarantee on any cashback site that you will get the cash but in my experience Quidco are very reliable, I have had £250 this month alone!

Give it a go, you may be surprised! ;)
  • some of the stuffs come out the sale and back full price !!. i thought they were clearance lots. bummer :(

You could say i have taken complete advantage of quidco and what it offers over the last 2 years, i have managed £1500 of cash back (paid out) yes i have had a few issues with them and would say about £200 of cashback was never tracked incorrectly declined or just has never paid. But look on the bright side i am £1500 richer for using them :-)
