    Hi iTBS :),

Inspirational posts as ever mate (actually I'll stop saying that now as you won't be able to fit your head through that loop they put over their heads in muay thai ;)).

No joking apart , well done for cancelling all your gambling accounts and for starting up the gym again... something I need to do as I make do with yoga at the mo', but am considering jiu-jitsu to add a more physical outlet to my regimen... we shall see...

Anyway, I went to the costa del almeria when I was a kid (bout 14), now 32, and remember it being quite nice, quite rugged in parts if I remember right, with a beautiful breeze off the coast... but was a long time ago (God, 18 years ago!)... Granada is a couple of hours away by coach and it is beautiful there (not that I saw it, threw up on the coach and was out of action all day )... Just out of interest look out for the local symbol basically a stick man with a circle around his bonse, if I remember right... :)

    Cheers, All the Best

    Hi Amidone4,

LOL re fitting my head through the hoop.:rotfl: :rotfl:

I used to do thai boxing when i was a bouncer and found it really theraputic, strange i know but it's good to have something to look forward to. I was doing weights to bulk up and thai was also good for conditioning.

My OH is a holistic therapist and does yoga an stuff, tried to get me to do it......

I'm too big and she put me to shame, couldn't do half the moves. I don't bother now as I would just fall in a heap trying the stretches:rotfl: :rotfl:(again)

Good on you with this but Im just nowhere near supple enough.

One of the trips we can go on is to Granada, I'll look into this now, cheers mate:beer:

    Hi All,

I didn't post yesterday night (hangs head in shame):o hence why i was "relegated" to page nine.

Was in such a bad mood after a clown bid in my weights bench in ebay for £90 then backed out saying he had a slipped disc:mad: He has offered to pay listing costs and i Will definitely be hitting him with these, aaarrrrggghh.

Second chance offer cant collect til Wednesday, I'm on hols from Monday, so I'll just relist when i get back. And I was pi ssed off at being told to "butt out" of another thread so i didn't want to post in such a bad mood:p

Anyway, today is a new day.

I have got loads of my paperwork done that I had to catch up with, checked CRB website(yes it's still at stage 4:mad: ). Racked my brain trying to find a "positive thing for today" but I did find one (you'll have to wait til the end:p :p:p )

Sky channels went off today, thought it would be dreadful but tbh not really noticed, DD still has 8 kiddie channels to watch too and one of them was the one she watched most anyway:j

Invited my brother and hos kids round tonight and I was the entertainer.

Had a BBQ, yes another one, and yes i know its not summer:rolleyes:

and got the bouncy castle out for the kids. Its one of them £100 jobs from woolies with a leccy fan. OOOOPPS, "someone" broke the mesh on it trying to jump over the walls (can you guess who:D )

Kids had a great laugh though and it was good to spend time with my brother, hes goin through a bad patch with his mrs at the moment.

I keep putting off this bloo dy tax credits cos I can't find the form. Tomorrow i will tackle it (any reminders/kicks up the jacksie welcome:o ).
Money is going to be tight and if im entitled to it I should be claiming it.

Got another auction ending on ebay tonight already up to £72 for a phone so fingers crossed they pay this time:rolleyes:

Absolutely shattered now so going to sign off.

    Positive thing done today

In true DFW style cancelled lovefilm dvd rental saving over £160 a year (this can pay my road tax:j )
  • Hey ITBS,

Just popping up to say I am still reading your thread with interest.

Well done on everything you have done so far and that bouncy castle sounds fab as does the BBQ('s). I wanted one at the weekend but the weather where I am is meant to rubbish so OH has proposed an indoor picnic!!!

The Lovefilm has reminded me to check when my free trial ends - ho hum....

  • Hi itbs

Just thought i would check in and say hello. You are still doing fantastic i need to take a leaf out of your book and try selling some stuff on e bay, I have a garage full of junk. Re our pm I have put it on hold just for a week or 2 as have got an interview a week on mon for a job I applied for long time back, had given up and assumed the worst but i guess they are just a bit slow in getting the letters out. So my fingers are crossed and will see what happens.
Anyway enjoy your holiday I think you desreve it.
    Cheers

Just want to say someone I know did this, was bankrupt after a failed business, worked on the taxis and bought a house here outright, and a holiday home in Spain because he worked non stop (xmas day, sat nights etc.) in the space of less than 2 years. Good luck, it CAN be done :D

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
