Morning All
Mrs M - Please can I declare £186.02 for April :j ,
and set a £180 budget for May.
April finishes today for me and I know I won't be spending anything. I really don't know how May is going to go as I'm away for a week (self catering) and haven't really decided if the food bought whilst we're away is to be part of the budget. Might just see how it goes and if it sends me over budget I might not actually include it. Is that just cheating or what :rotfl: ?
Well done to all those who stayed within budget and better luck next month for those who didn't, chin up guys, just think of that lovely new shiny budget0 -
Hi all,
can I declare at £275.26 April. Budget was £300, well pleased with myself!!!!
Went to Asda yesterday, managed to get loads of yellow labels, so have enough meat for the next 5 days meals!!!! :j
Am determined to go even lower for May, have put down for £280 on the new May GC thread.
June will be harder as DD2 has a German exchange student staying for a week, can't really feed her our wierd, mixed up meals!!!!
Good luck to you all in May, see you on the new thread!!!
Bye!!2011, this will be my year .0 -
OK I finished on £120.88 so not too bad!
Going to stick to £120 for May. Good luck everyone:T0 -
Afraid I lost interest in reading this thread when I hit my budget around about the 15th of the month ... in the end we have £272.36 worth of damage so that is me declaring my total for April.
I do want to return £13.99 worth of EXPENSIVE globes that DH bought but when I went to MrS, they said they could only do it onto DH's card. No major problem there, except I have no realised that that particular card has been replaced so of course the card number isn't the same and they will probably notice and won't let me do the return  .
Off to join May now, as I have already spent a whopping huge amount there  .0 -
Mrs M I am declaring £459.32 for April.
I run from the 22nd to the 21st of each month
Please put me down for £400 again for May..perhaps I can do it this time!
I haven't posted much lately, but I have been trying to keep to the menu plans and my shopping lists. I was still over my April budget of £400...but that was for 41/2 weeks.
I am now making my bread by hand as the pan for my bread machine broke (fell of the drainer and the base got so bashed that it won't click into the main part of the machine!). I did contact the makers about a replacement, but they are distinctly non-communicative!
Still, I am enjoying making the bread by hand, and I can make two at a time, possibly more if I got more loaf tins!! I will get around to making fancy ones sometime, but I am only just managing to keep up with the demands of my teenage boys with bottomless pits!
Must dash...will pop in again later in the week.
