Bunny, can't you spend your time at work productively, by scouring the internet for a new job?!
Hope you're okay hun, what a nightmare. I would probably give him a week, but I would start job hunting at the same time too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hello Peeps
Bunny-I would seriously look for another job if I were you that business does not sound like it is ever going to be managed properly and you dont need the worry of every month wondering if you are going to get the call into the office with another excuse.
Can they not give you a bit of a sub until they get the loan through, bet the director has money in his own bank account!
Your OH might have just been lost for words at the time you told him the news about the salary I know my OH has to think and consider things a little first before he makes any comments/recommendations. I on the other hand put my mouth into action before engaging my brain:o
Never mind though hun..its Friday.
Lenny...stop faffing about.
Hi Jinks, how are you today.
Hello to everyone else too.
We all need a good laugh and a party!!!But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Hey guys... the IPTW guys are filming random 'filler' clips so got to escape to the net :rotfl: Going really well even had to pose outside in a suit while one of them hung out of the car with a camera.. :rotfl: Will post pics in a bit.

Hi all - survived my first 'long' day at work!
Glad things sound ok ebay queen, been scanning the thread looking for you, you'll enjoy the holiday!
Not good bun, as others have said, start using the internet to look for another job - just in case.
I felt bleurgh at the thought of your little one and the sick problem Len!!
Well, i'm quite pleased with myself. When I started my new job, they asked me to work 9-1 three days a week (12 hours) and 6.5 hours on a Friday. Because I have to work afternoons on AQA and also take Charlie at lunch, the Friday hours were going to be a pain as they had to legally give me a break as they wanted me to work over 6.5 hours which meant I wouldn't finish until 3pm ( I asked for an 8am start), not much good for me at all.
Anyway, by the time the meeting I have to do the minutes for had finished and I'd typed them it was 2pm and i'd done 6 hours so I said to my boss - it isn't worth me having a break now just to come back for 30 minutes so I'll finish at 2.30pm. She was fine about it so I got brave and said - well, how about I do 6 hours on a Friday, finish at 2 pm, you don't have to give me a break and the 'missing' 30 minutes I'll tag on one morning each week - and got a resounding 'yes'!! Result!!!
So, my new hours are now 9-1 Tue and Wed, 8.30 - 1 Thur and 8-2 on a Friday. Much better all round. I'm feeling quite proud of myself for negotiating exactly what I wanted only 2 weeks in to the job! Being only 5 minutes away (literally!!), the 8.00am and 8.30am starts aren't a problem - in fact, I'm kicking my heels in the mornings at the moment.

Go Keren :T See how much more confident you are already

I'm so bored of uni work I decided to take a break and say hi. Shouldn't really as I have so much to do but I'm bored of ADP nowNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Well done Keren, and IA a very productive day.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Bloody Nora!!! :j
Just checked my bank account!!
My job's pay day is today. I thought I'd either get 2 weeks worth of pay, or nothing and have to wait until the end of April (working a month in arrears). I then top up my salary with AQA.
However, I've had £600 paid into my account!! That's a bit more than I would expect to clear for a month, not 2 weeks!
Something a bit odd there - I guess I'll get a payslip when I'm next in work Tuesday. They've either paid me for 2 weeks in a full time post by mistake rather than a part time post (although, I wouldn't expect that, i'm sure they'd check first!) or, they've paid me for the 2 weeks I've worked plus a month in advance, which wouldn't be as good as that would mean £600 would be 6 weeks salary, not 4
Or ,there is something skewy with my tax as I've worked 11 months of this financial year self employed - my last 'pay packet' was the end of last May.
hhmmmm, not sure whether to be pleased or deflated now!

Keren
That is a little worrying, but maybe they decided to pay you more per hour than you thought!!! Finger's crossed it's all yours to keep.
