I have only ever shopped in the store once, I was asked for my email address and got the email regarding the card and special offers etc...

I made my purchase without a card, had to take a faulty item back and then I asked in store for a card ( which will no doubt sit in a drawer here for years to come )
I aren't really a Matalan sort of guy :rotfl: , but thought I'd post this freebie to help others.

Not sure if you can. I was in store and was asked for my email address. Then when I took an item back to the store, I was asked if I had / wanted a card.

At my local store they won't let you buy anything without a card, and I'm always forgetting to take it with me. I went to check at customer services if I'd be able to make a purchase as I'd left my card at home and the girl just looked up my details on the computer and printed out a day ticket.

We need to use a card at our local matalan too, to be honest at all matalans ive been to ive been told i need a card. I noticed they are advertising a new card though now-so ill ask when i next go in if you do need one or not.

Wish they'd let you apply online though.

I bought something from Matalan in Yeovil a couple weeks ago. I didnt have a card or get asked for one. Bought a pair of jeans that were in the sale.

I remember buying something from the store in Bournemouth a few years back, I dont remember having to use a card though.

Maybe I've got one of those "get away with anything" faces lol

Don't think you can sign up online - you need to do it instore.
