I'm worried about onestopphoneshop.com

  • I recently placed an order with OSPS, which requires cashback by redemption. After reading posts placed by others on this forum, I am seriously worried. I am a student and cannot afford not to have the "cashback". Can anyone advise me if they have had dealings with this company, as I beleive I can cancel as it is only "being processed".

    Thanks very much.

    Hi Hairmonkey...

as you will have read .... so far .... YOU are at the start of a very very woolli

    relationship ....

Good luck with onestop-phoneshop ... you WILL need it ....

and --- as always - QUIDCO ... will actually make YOU money ... on the way ... AND pay you for the 'angst' and frustration already endured ...
  • Im not sure that is correct about osps being an affilate of the carphonewarehouse.

e2save is an affilate of the cpw trading name and states this clearly on their website however onestopphoneshop does not do this (check the about us link on their website) and from what i hear they are trouble. Nuff said

they are owned by cpw, the statement on their about us page makes that clear enough:

In 2005, One Stop Phone Shop became a division of The Carphone Warehouse Limited.

Or did you send the 4th bill received? :)

it is after the 4th month, not the 4th bill.

i.e you get connected on the 1st january, you first claim will be the bill you receive on or around 1st May. This may be your 4th/5th bill depending on when you get your bills

Stay away from osps - they will cause you nothing but trouble. Do a search for them on these forums and you'll find nothing but horror stories!

If you send the claim form by Recorded Delivery and it gets lost, the Royal Mail will not pay compensation.

If you are posting "valuable mail" which includes "Credit notes, coupons, vouchers, gift tokens, tickets or anything that can be exchanged for money, goods or services" they will only pay compensation if you send it by Special Delivery.
