There is a 95% (100% not confirmed yet) that there will be another article in the Times Money Section this Saturday updating the overcharging issue. There may be a shortened version of it on Timesonline Sat morning so you can check it is in before going out to buy it.0

Well done !0 -
Bit more info. Somewhere in the main body of the paper will be mention of an MP who is going to ask Ofgem to widen their investigation to go back to April 2003. Could be interesting if they did.

I'm not in Steve Webb's constituency, but if I were he would get my vote.0 -

I suppose I've had my 15 mins of fame. I would like to see npower have about 5 days of it, mostly live from the Old Bailey. Wonder if anyone from Ofgem/SFO/OFT reads these threads or the Times.0 -

Read the article in the times today.
Well done DD - Hopefully Ofgem and co will finally get their fingers out and sort this mess out once and for all.
Don't think they did you justice with the photo though
I've got my switch dates through for leaving NPower :T0 -
I've followed this on and off, but not had much to add.
I was in a shopping centre today and npower had a stall advertising their £100 a year discount.
I take it this the same year the rest of us use, and not their tariff year? If they paid the discount every 12 months, would that affect their argument?0 -
Way to go DD. Hubby bought the Times today to do the crossy as always and he said "hey there is someone who has beaten Npower I wonder if that is your Martin guy you talked about some time ago" I did think it looked like your story. Congrats from all of us.

Finally had a chance to read it all today.
Absolutely outstanding DD!!
I am simply amazed at NPower's tactics throughout this saga. They have displayed incompetence and arrogance in equal measure. In particular I would love to know if the poster in this thread, who made veiled threats toward you, was connected to Npower.
Whilst your perseverance will no doubt have set the scene for an easy rebate for the hundreds/thousands? who make a claim, surely Ofgem must make NPower compensate the millions who are unaware that they have also suffered "no loss and had their bill calculated correctly"!!!!!!
Great news! Best thread ever on MSE! Congratulations!0
