computor keeps restarting itself

Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone can help me!!!
A couple of days ago i was getting a blue screen with the following message
kernal-data-inpage-error
Followed by the following.
Technical information.
***stop:0x0000007A
(0XC03 DDDEO,0XC000000E,CXF7778130,0X16BF3860)
***Atapi.sys-addressF7778130 BASE AT F7767000,data stamp 41107b4d
Beggining dump physical memory
Now tonight when i turned on my computor all it does is goes to start up with windows xp and the green bar going along underneath then that stops and the screen goes black with a message saying that my computor started back up following a powerfailure or not shutting down properly etc etc then it gives me the following options of restarting it.
Safe mode
Safe mode with network
Safe mode with command prompt
Last known good configuration
Start windows normally.
Which everone i try it just keeps going round in circles.
Help anyone?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Cheers nic

I had a similar (can't remember the message that came up lots of numbers and zero's) the cause was that i removed the power supply while the laptop was shutting down (remove the wrong plug from the belkin power supply)

I tried everything i could think of and also tried to repair windows xp from the cd nothing would work. I reloaded windows from scratch onto the hard drive and normal service resumed.

Best of luck i don't think you may have an alternative unless someone can provide you with instructions to go in and edit the software.

Try going into the bios, and disable the CD/DVD drive (or remove it)

    Try safe mode.

when you boot , it will say enter del or f2 or esc or another key to enter bios. This is a clutch at straws idea, so may make no difference, but disabling or removing the CD drive might help

is there a disk in the drive, if so, remove it.

the bios screen comes up before windows, you just have to be quick.

or, take the cover off, and pull the ribbon cable out of the back of the cd drive
