I have an aunt who is like that - she has lived in London for 25 years, and everyone comments on how Scottish she sounds, but whenever she comes to visit us, we reckon she sounds as English as the Queen :rotfl: :rotfl:

I used to go out with a gorgeous lass from Aberdeen who had the most amazing sexy Scottish accent. Funnily enough she thought my Irish accent was lovely even though I'm from N. Ireland :rotfl:
It was like listening to the Colin and Edith show on Radio One :rotfl:

Oooh, Liam Neeson..... Yes, N.Ireland! My sister married a bloke from Newtonards and their accent is such a lovely soft Irish one..

I think everybody's accent is lovely who lives in Scotland. It would have to be the best accent in the world. :cool: Much nicer than the pommy accent.:D

I think its just brilliant that no matter where you go in the world, the scots are always well received. The fact that the lads with their GORGEOUS irish accent love my scottish accent is a bonus! :T

I love the scottish accent, whichever part of Scotland it comes from, regardless of if I can understand what is being said or not.
