been thinking ..............why do we all do this?
Do we all really need to save pennies on our smellies? Or is it the thrill of stuff for nothing when we spot a glitch?Or is it the points which we see as 'free'money?

I wonder if the powers that be at Boots are pulling our strings!!!

Not sure if this has been covered later (as am playing catch-up with thread) but have they definitely stopped letting you buy phone credit with points ? This is the ONLY reason I collect so many points, as most other things you can buy cheaper than Boots. Will be very cross if they have!!! :mad: Bought some phone credit a couple of weeks ago. SA said 'we don't do phone credit on points' but other SA said 'oh yes, we do now - we didn't used to, but they changed it'. Sort yourselves out Boots !
(P.S. What's happened to Passion8 ? Taken up Tescoing instead ?)

Not been to Boots since Monday and even though I've read the thread about 3 times, still can't work out what's worth buying - if anything (Know what you mean scorpiokitten about the UG and phallic symbols - it's a subliminal ploy to get us women to buy them. I can't pick them up without blushing! :rotfl: )

OH got Rembrandt toothpaste yesterday for 75p - it was £2 on Monday! Should I take it back?

No I was told that paying with points was a mistake in the programming of the till and it should never have been allowed.

I really don't know, but I do know that I'm spending far more in there than I ever did! I've got £50 in points now and my aim was to have £100 by Christmas so I'm going to give myself a month off in April and resolve not to set foot in a store... I have enough shampoo, shower gel and conditioner to last me till Christmas so I really have no need!
