I am just back from a terrible time in my local Boots. I tried to get the foundation on 342 with the free concealers. At the normal till the SA said it wouldnt go through, so she called the No. 7 SA. She told me she would try another way, and I paid 2650 points. Left the shop, walked around for about 15 mins, then remembered I hadnt got the coupons from the ACM. The sa saw me, called me back to the No. 7 counter, said would I speak to the manager. I said ofcourse. The manager said it clearly says on the sign only 1 per person, and took back my goodies. I felt as if they treated me like a shoplifter, and was upset by the whole thing. I feel like I dont want to ever go into that store again. I came back and ordered it online, no problems, didnt order the concealers, 3 just showed up free. So had to pay £26.50 plus £2.95 delivery, where as I wanted to pay with my points.

What???? this is out of order. How dare they:mad: you paid for those items!!!! You MUST call CS. This is just not on. I am so angry for you. They cannot get away with this rosy. Let us know what CS say. Good luck.

Agree totally, If you did not see the sign and they let you purchase it was bang out of order. I would think about even writing a formal letter and also adding that you can not bear to set foot in the door again due to sheer shock and remind them roughly how much you have spend there since last 12 months or jan etc. I'd even go one further and say that your 'friends' you have discussed it with no longer whish to go to boots and they think you should go to trading standards. Boots will not like bad word of mouth.

    Great shop today :)

expert sensitive gentle cleansing bar x 2= £1.09each (forgot it was on 3 for 2 though :( )
expert tin and used 100 points from mag
    I went today
Bah! thought I had done well didn't realise I could have got another soap too! Still the tin is good for free.

But... a very nice Boots person told me she was just reducing the lovely angora socks from £6-£10 down to £1.50-£1.75 and they were on 3 for 2 so made up with that. She made up for the miserable SA who didnt crack so much as a smile while she served me! Also picked up the Kids bucket Easter treat things for 87p for some kids I'd forgotten to buy for and am seeing tomorrow.

Think I will get a Boots purse as suggested cos I always end in a muddle trying to sort my vouchers, I look VERY suspicious, even if i say so myself.

Does anyone know how to measure up for flight socks?

Off to Vegas/Mexico in just over week and suffer really badly from swollen ankles when flying. Have the 300 points wyb Boots flight socks voucher (just to keep this on topic!)
You'll need the measurement from the back of your knee to the floor and the circumference of your calf at it's widest point. Not sure if you may need the circumference of your ankle too, depends upon the brand of flight socks.

I did - but the glitch did not work for me - the ACM voucher wouldn't work so I paid full price for the body wash. That's going back tomorrow!!!;)

Oh no! did you buy the same items as scorpiokitten - Mediterranean almond, wheatgerm & milk body wash £4.00 and Almond and pistachio soap £1.50?

mummybear3....if you buy yourself a little photo album for your advantage coupons and points its easier to organise rather than fumbling about and stressing yourself trying to find the right one,you just flip through it easily :).I keep all my tesco and boots coupons in it :)
