In Watford on Saturday, they were still £9, as reduced in store, but I got one for £5 as that is all I had paid at the other store in Watford, and the Manager agreed to sell one for that price. Yesterday, when I asked the girl to check the price, the barcode scanned at £2.25, so I bought the last 3.0 -

Ohh, I love Bourjois cosmetics! I think it dates back to when I was a very poor student when they first came out and they were the No1 lust after cosmetics in all the mags, but I couldn't afford them.0

Does anyone know if the Glasgow Fort Boots is worth a visit? Planning to pop in over the next few days so wanted to know if they have a clearance shelf and if so where is it because I hardly ever find one when I shop - Im rubbish at spotting bargains - so I love it here!!!
Thanks
They have a few shelves dotted round the store. There is one facing the pharmacy till with medicines and sanctuary reduced stuff. One near the magazines with make up. One on the end of the suntan stuff with toiletries. Sometimes one at photo shop.
They move them about so its worth looking round the shop anyway. They are normally on the ends of shelves. I love the Fort anyway and my DD works there so I am up all the time!
kMoney is only of any use if you can spend it!:cool:0 -
morning ladies,
i was in a little store this morning getting my lunch and i noticed the bourjois has a range of items at 2 for £10. this included single eyeshadows, mascaras, lip gloss, blusher and nail varnishes.
i am assuming this offer can be used in conjunction with the new till spit - makes it abit more worthwhile on some items but for the single eyeshadows it would be cheaper to buy them seperately with 2 vouchers!0 -

geordie_lass wrote: »lol, no I didn't understand at all. That lovely Benefit girl did try to explain but even she was getting muddled up. It's something to do with the reduced price liners as they are now a clearance range, probably since the new stock was put onto the tills, though they are still on the shelves and SEL shows full price in Marketplace.
The SA's are going to have real problems with this until the old stock has been cleared I think.
The strange thing was that there was no problem with the Shimmer powder even though that is also reducedit was definitely the liners.
Was the lipliner that you got at the Arnison this morning a reduced one? Maybe that was the problem, when I looked there late this afternoon they had all gone, just the brand new shades were there. I got a new range eyeliner and lipglaze for DD but the till bleeped when the SA tried the mag voucher, I wasn't even doing a 3for2 or trying for the GWP
yes it was a reduced lip liner - didn't get it in the end though:D Am glad i didn't cos had forgotten about the GWP:D the manager just couldn't see why I wouldn't want a "free" lip liner even when i explained that it wouldn't be free it was the lip glaze that was free and I had that as part of the 342. We were just going round in circles so I gave up:rotfl:
thay had few reduced ones this morning and different colours (lip liners and eye liners) so either sold loads or took them off the shelves!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Cerenia - thanks for the hatbox tip - sadly I'm not sure I can justify two buses and a long tube ride (total ca £9.60) to get one!0

kittykitten wrote: »Query for anyone who lives/works in county durham (maybe geordie_lass?) what do you think are the best boots shops in the area?
I was supposed to leave work early today but didn't get the chance (usual story, too much work, not enough staff) so I'm going to try to take my time owing either tomorrow or friday. Thought I might do a mammoth bootsing trip on the way home, as many shops as I can find! I work in Darlington so will start off by hitting the 2 boots stores in the town centre - never been in either, so need to try both!
I live in tyneside, normally drive home up the A1 but can make a detour to any co durham boots that are worthwhile, as there's a number of different ways I can go home. Was thinking about coming home via durham, but need boots on the outskirts cos I need to be able to drive to them - can't be bothered with park & ride! I know where the Arnison centre is in Pity Me, so probably that one, but apart from that am open to suggestions if anyone's got any?
Thanks in advance!
I only go to the ones in Durham - market place, Arnison centre and North road. Although I did venture to Chester le Street yesterday:D The main one I go to is the Arnison centre mainly because of the parking. So not much help really!!!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

geordie_lass wrote: »My favourite is the Arnison Centre, great SA's, very friendly and love to know all the latest glitches and bargains to be had, will try any vouchers etc.
They seem to have the best clearance section here and are the first of the 3 stores to make reductions such as the S&G sets, hatboxes, champagne etc.
Easy to get to if you are on your way home to Tyneside.
Marketplace is bigger, on two floors, friendly SA's with the odd dragon but, hey.. Clearance varies but not as good as the Arnison Centre, late making reductions too. They have a few seperate beauty counters in here. Not easy to get to on your way home as it's right in the city centre.
North Road is tiny but has a good clearance section, often has loads of make-up. SA's are lovely too. Worth a look if you are passing on foot one day.
