Still no soap in on Sunday, and still haven't been back to the store I complained about :o I doubt that anyone in these parts managed that glitch. And probably never will now. x

Long shot i know... does anyone know of anywhere that sells the Razor Scuttle Bug scooters that were in the 75% sale relatively cheap? Or does any bootser now find they have no need for one. Im in search of one for my 3 y/o boy as his "big brother" present from our new baby which is due in 4 days time. This scooter seems to be ideal for him as it doesnt look as babyish as a trike and as he has epilepsy its that bit better that hes sitting down whilst scooting around rather than standing! Sorry to go off-topic but if anyone could help out that'd be fab :)

Well I am probably going to get slaughtered for this but here goes......

Could we please try and keep this thread Boots related?
I've read this thread daily for ages now but the amount of unecessary posts is getting out of hand. I really don't mean to offend anyone but all the posts like 'you have a PM' and general chitchat etcetc just clog up the thread making it a nightmare to catch up on.
Maybe folk could use the PM facility more often and then Crazyposhgal (who we all love and admire for her dedication and hard work on this thread) wouldn't have to keep opening new threads.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this!;)
Wow, it's amazing the way a harsh 'virtual' comment can be as upsetting as a 'real' one. icon9.gificon6.gif (I pressed *thanks* button by accident !)
The up-to-date Boots facts are on page one, btw.

I am gutted:( my dad has just been to collect my No7 nail sets - nowhere to be found and no recollection of anyone putting them to one side. Rang CS who said castlepoint had 8 in stock (gave them the number this time). Rang castlepoint back and spoke to very helpful SA who said well if we have 8 in stock they must be somewhere so I will go and have a look and ring you back. She rang back and said that the number (5146291) was for a different item which is an electrical manicure set and they didn't have any of the others left. Thought it was too good to be true:D

Had planned a no 7 shop to take adv of foundation, free concealer, 342 and £5 off parenting voucher
    Foundation 13.25
    Concealer free
    Day cream 7.75
Thought it would then give me culticle cream free as cheapest
However till gave me day cream free and then took the £5 off the cuticle cream
Sorry for the ramble, basically I was charged less than i'd planned, not complaining

Has anyone managed to work out what the deal is for this No.7 3for1 or 4for2 or whatever it is after you've got your free concealer and also the 3for2 business?! I've been reading some posts but - as usual for Boots - different people seem to be getting different things free and different amounts of money knocked off. Has anyone managed to get their head round what is going on, please and feel able to explain it to a blonde:confused:?

    Transaction 1:

No17 Eye Dazzle dust in purple - £3.79
    No17 lip glaze - £3.79
No17 limited edition GWP palette - free!
Expert Exfoliating mittens x2 packs - £1.29 each
    Expert GWP tin - free!

Had spotted one of the nice SA's on the till when I walked in, so just handed over the lip glaze voucher and Expert 100pt voucher and smiled sweetly. Of course the lip glaze voucher beeped but the SA dealt with that, so total of £6.37 to pay ="inlineimg" />

I used the lip glaze mag voucher yesterday and it worked for me. Has anyone else had any problems with it?......................................................................................................................................nine tails, have you had any luck with the med voucher in London? yesterday, I went looking for the med range in a couple of stores - Notting hill and kensington - small store (Didn't try large store 'cos the glitch doesn't work there) but neither have the med range in stock:( I've probably missed the boat anyway, because it sounds like (from all the reports) they have fixed the glitch. Oh well, I'm not too disappointed. At least I managed to get 6 No7 nail sets and 4 S&G sets the other day. Well pleased with these:)

I can't just sit here! lol.I'm going to try Bolton and another part of Oldham on a recon mission, will report back for your hopefuls soon. Fingers crossed!

Nopeskis :( Doesn't work in Oldham Spindles, and Bolton Middlebrook had no gift sets at all! Med glitch well and truly BUSTED!

I rang Oldham Spindles 1st before i set off to 'pre-order' 3 of the No.7 nail kits (as CS said they had them at that store) which they did, and when i rang the store they had well over 18 (then she got bored of counting so prob more) sets all on a stand...

But when i got there to pick up mine, all the others were all gone! No stand, no SEL, nothing.
I'm suprised they didn't have my reserved ones away aswell! Ooo I would'nt have been happy if they had...but what are SA's like..? They obviously want a good bargain too and well, who can blame them
My phonecall obviously alerted them them to their reductions and they swooped in on them. :p

Pah, sorry guys, all bad news. No kits left to report, no med glitch.
