I don't think anyone explained it, but a fair guess is that SAs or managers took note of the problem and reported it to the central office or whoever could fix it. When I worked at a store (not Boots) years ago, if something didn't ring up properly, you took down the barcode on a form so it could be corrected in the system. I wouldn't be surprised if Boots employees are supposed to do something similar, but usually they just don't do it (many may not even know what the procedure is when something rings up wrong, but one surely exists). This glitch probably attracted enough notice that someone actually took steps to correct it. Just a guess.

Reporting in from Airdrie (Scotland) quite a small store so not surprised there were no soaps, but think glitch is "sorted" so consoling myself it wouldn't have worked anyway!!
Did get UG shampoo and conditioner for £3.80 taking advantage of the 2 for £6 then using the ACM 1/2 price conditioner voucher, well chuffed! Did have lots of reduced eyeliner and while she allowed these to count to the free lip glaze she wouldn't allow the GWP - aw well.

No other bargains really - or one tha I noticed!

Wouldnt surprise me if someone of importance at Boots checks the forum, just to see what everyone is up to.:rotfl:

Have this terrible cough and sore throat which i had thought i had got rid of but it's back again yac. i console myself with the fact that all the mend myself stuff is free cos i buy it with points.

I wanted another blue bag, a green one would have been ok or if pushed i would have accepted a body butter set. My friend was even gonna go to boots down south specially to print me off vouchers to post. aaawwww.

thinking of things to store vouchers in, tesco borehamwood had some reduced paisley organisers, about a6 ish size with a note pad pen and little expanding pockets think they were about £1.50ish and quite pretty
