Thanks. I find this store's SAs quite on the ball, pretty doubtful I can get the Med bags through with the soap, but will try anyway and see what happens. Tried twice to get the S&G bags here but no luck. Could never see any MF GWPs there either.0 -
Oooh and could we have a rousing cheer for wendy_ann1983 who PM'd me and very kindly offered to check if she could track down any nail kits for me tomorrow, despite the fact that I hadn't even screamed for help.
There really are some fab people on here!!

My niece is having a baby soon so thought i'd get her one but she doesn't like pampers nappies so will be using huggies. My little boy is in size 4+ but not sure whether I could get away with buying bigger nappies? Anyone else tried this?
Well...when I wanted some that were size 4, I got the newborns plus a mini mode tshirt that was too small for my son.
Next visit... I went to the till to SA I knew and made a statement about men being daft and never keeping reciepts. In the second statement I said I'd like to swap the newborn nappies I had in my Boots bag, with the size 4 please, plus could I change the T-Shirt for some wipes also.
Bit naughty, but kind of disguised the nappy swap over with the tshirt/wipes swap too and by having mini mode t shirt, it did not just look like I had got from the supermarket etc

Not at all :A
I have done similar sneaky exchanges to either cringe or applaud not sure which but definately not writing about them on here! :shhh:
For example - I was even thinking before about these 3 blue med gift bags i have - Total cost £4.50, and I could theoretically take back without my receipt for exchange of £45 to spend on goodies instore!!
But then thought no, and gave 2 to my mum. Still the brain's always ticking over..... :think:0 -

I'm sure it says on the voucher free with any pampers Newborn or Active Fit (which are bigger sizes) HTH;)
Wierdly enough I found, as did a friend, when I had to borrow a nappy(stupid me!!!)that the pampers active fit leak more than normal ones when the move lol. Also, the tabs are harder to get stuck again if you are rubbish/have a squirmer and need to reposition the tabs. I use huggies natural generally, then staydry/superdry whatever they are called for shopping trips(my little man does not stop drinking) and at night as they soak up great. Get wierd jelly stuff on their skin though.
Plus I am a bit of a hippy and will not buy proctor and gamble branded goods, so will not use pampers anyway0 -
Nine_Tails wrote: »Hi jemclajess - sorry I'm on too late for you. The stores I tried the soap glitch were Kew Retail and big Kensington High St. There were some nail kits on Sedley Pl (big one on Oxford St) last time I was there but can't vouch whether there'd be any left.
Hope you had a great time in London. Weather's a bit iffy - the Boat Race is on today so could be interesting.
Thanks Nine Tails for replying. I have not long been back from a rather hectic day in London and remember now why I hardly ever go to London (especially on a Saturday -along with 3 DD's and a DH who hates shopping!!!) Today was the end of my weeks holiday from work (I normally work all day Saturday) and because I worked hard last month and did alot of overtime I decided to treat the kids and DH to Madame Tussauds. Weather was terrible and after alot of pushing and shoving on trains and tubes we went first to the National History Museum and then to Oxford Street. After a visit to my eldest DD's favourite two shops Topshop and H&M we made our way to M & S for my husband. By the time I spotted Boots (Sedley Place) I was wet, hungry and had a raging headache. Couldn't resist looking for the elusive No7 Nail Sets and was pleased I found them and asked the No7 lady to price check them and she said 'they are £10.00' even before checking them. I think she was surprised they went through for £2.50 and I picked up 3 on a 3 for 2 (£5.00 total). I wish I had looked for the mediterranean soap glitch but as I hadn't seen your message I didn't want to chance it again in case it bleeped and the kids were keen to get to Madame Tussauds. After waiting in the wrong queue in the wind for 20 minutes and then another 30 minutes inside in the right queue it was 4.55 when we got in and I couldn't believe the 'reduced' price still meant I paid £76.00 for the five of us and what worked out to just over an hour's visit. Never mind... still managed to get my nail sets and the kids enjoyed it - I just can't help thinking about how many hours (at £5.52 an hour) I worked just to pay for it!!!!
I think another trip to Boots is called for to cheer me up!!!
Sorry for yet another LONG post - friends are always telling me I talk too much!!!!:o0
