    Hello everyone,

I havnt even attempted to read the thread today, i will try and go back, but i am hoping its lots of new posters/good news rather than discussion time type chit chat - i would hate to have the problems we had last year rear its ugly head again!!!

Smoky - not sure if you have posted, or will read this, but you are really in my thoughts today, thinking of you and the children xxx

    :hello: mrs mix

:grouphug: and :hello: to anyone who would like/needs one xxx

Had a lovely day with DS today. DD was at a childs forum she goes to once a month, so we did shopping - he was so good, but we did 'man shopping' so in and out of shops ASAP and a bit longer in the sports shop and computer shop!!! Spoilt ourselves with a KFC, but bought a bucket to share so we had enough left over for DDs dinner tonight (so she didnt feel left out) and also some to freeze for another day!!!

Also did Tescos/Lidls and Morrisons so we now have full cupboards and hopefully wont need to get anything for a while.

Ive not done much OS today, although i have checked the oil and screen wash in the car, and topped them both up, and 'mended' my wing mirror (its been hanging off for a while) - mind you, its with packing tape so looks a bit odd, but will do the job until i can afford to get it fixed properly. Yesterday i planted some seed potatoes out in old dustbins (i think we are safe from the frost down here now, and i can put the lids on if i think its getting cold, dont know if it will help, we will find out in a few months!!!) and hopefully will be planting some more bits in the next week or so.

Right, going to heat up DDs KFC, shes hungry!!!

    Have a lovely evening everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

dogrose, thank you so much for the link to the site and for setting that up. Hopefully smokybabe will see it and know that we care.

I can't remember who was asking after shez, but she's fine, just very busy as she's her sister's carer while their Mum is in Australia. She doesn't have time to read all the posts ( goodness, who has the last couple of days:eek: ) and doesn't feel she should post without reading. That's shez for you, too nice for her own good:D

Candy girl about a year or so ago it was all post like last night and there were some discrepancies over it so this bit was put in
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for xx (add date). This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

to try and stop it but every now and again it goes off course
