TBH I don't think they are that unheathy anyway, esp if you grill them rather than fry...
Only strage ingredient is E464 which it says "E464 Is Derived from a Natural Plant Material. We Use It To Control the Level Of Fat Absorbed By the Waffles and To Maintain Their Shape & Texture."
95calories, 0.6 grams saturated fat per waffle...
This is Birdseye ones btw, just looked them up on mysupermarket.com...
I always have them in for a quick and easy tea, but I guess if you wanted to do something healthier you could try little bubble and squeak patties instead, maybe put a face on them with veg or something lol....0 -

Been looking a getting a Waffle Maker since Sept as kids loved them on holiday. All been about £30 - can't justify that on something that may not be used that often. Have been buying the pack of waffles but they are a bit dry and DD can't have any as she has an allergy to wheat.
Lidls had them in yesterday for £10:j. Bought one and made waffles for breakfast today. They were the best waffles I have ever tasted (even the wheat-free ones were really good) - thank goodness I only made a small amount of mixture or I would have kept eating:o. Used Rachel Allen recipe. Going to save lots of money by making them and not buying! Also money on petrol as the kids got up in time so they could have waffles and I didn't have to drive them to school.

That rachel allen recipe is lovely isn't it? I use it all the time. I wonder why though my waffle iron isn't working as well as it used to? They seem to be sticking.....Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790
