pbcpdeveloper said:Good question, (it was a £100k prize win btw). Only scenario I can think of is; the May draw is actually performed at the backend of April. If NS&I also do the auto reinvest in April then that would explain the Purchase Date of April and the number was allocated after you OH's auto reinvest 578Q numbers.
I would assume the 579Q number you manually purchased in May was a higher number than the £100k winning 579Q number?
Adding to this in May I purchased bonds starting 580A.. So surprised when I downloaded June numbers to see bonds starting 580A..B..C had won which shouldn't be eligible until July (unless they were reinvested numbers).
I wonder if it's due to a second draw caused by ineligible bonds? None of it makes sense.0 -
Won £100 in the June draw.
Not doing too badly so far this year, £650 in total.
Feb: £50
Mar: £175

Time for this thread's monthly resurrection.
I haven't trawled the full list of big winners, but am confident I've not won a very big one.
Both million pound prizes this month go to people with full holdings1 -
Disappointment time already? It has come around fast this month.2

Last month was my last full holding month - I withdrew most for a house purchase - I have £10k left and managed a £50 prize this month - more than I was expecting.0
-
My largest ever win - a single £500. Full holding. More than March, April, May, and June, put together.

"Sorry, no luck this time". Fully expected, as I've had a good run recently. Need to work out what that does to my running rate . . . was a smidge over 7%, dropped to 5.6%. Still well above my 'I'll keep hold of them' level.0
