Hope your luck changes for the better, hope mine keeps getting better.  Good luck.WH_Saint said:
4th straight blank on a full holding. Statistically that's quite some run of bad luck ! First £20K withdrawn this morning to fund an ISA.

Congrats to those doing better than me !

Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.

Nothing on my £50k this time - my first blank in a long time, but my wife got £1175 so total return for the month is OK..

Thank you. I've been doing ok so far this year on a max holding.

But today yielded a £5k! Plus a £50. Happy days.
Well done to you, you don't often see big prizes on here.

£150 for OH on Max holding and £50 for me on £30k

Second blank in a row on full holding. It's getting annoying now.  I've never had that, even when the rate was at the very lowest :#

    01/01/24 300
    01/02/24  250
    01/03/24  200

Interesting thing is the very different return on 2x max holdings, showing the nature of "chance".

For the 1st 6 draws of 2024, one £50k holding has returned £1050 in prizes, the other £2225.

So overall £3275 (on £100k) tax free, in 6 months.

(Total prizes over last 12 months are £6175, so a tax free return of over 6% -  quite happy with that).

That is terrible luck! You're more likely to win the 50k prize in any given month than get for £0 in a row on 50k.
Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)

Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.

Thank you, yes, it's still sinking in. Partner hasn't picked up the message yet but as we're in Rome next week I think my list of potential trattorias to eat in may get upgraded to include at least one ristorante.

The Rome trip itself is a direct result of the thread about the difficulties of overcoming the mental block of spending hard earned savings. We are properly going for it, city centre 4* hotel and skip-the-line tickets!

I may look to upgrade my 9 year old phone when we're back. But don't want to get too carried away!

I took out £25k last month to do the same, replenish Emergency Fund and top up ISA. But I left £25k in, which I'm quite happy to leave for the "fun" of it. Last month with full holding I got £100, this month on half holding I got £250, go figure. My miissus on full holding got £25 and she's naturally disappointed, even though I did point out that she "won" £1350 in April, which she had forgotten about! :o:neutral:
