If I bought mine on 5 July, is the September draw the first i'm included in?
If you want to buy PB's it is always best as close to the end of the month as possible. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Pay by cheque over the Post Office Counter on the last possible day of the month for those extra few clearing days of cash in the bank in true MSE fashion(!) since the bonds will be classed as purchased from the date they stamp the paperwork at the counter....
My stoozed PB's have raked in around the region of over +7% of the stoozed holding during the past year.
My initial outlay = £0 + 1% inspiration + 99% perspiration !
Good Luck on the smaller draws folks!!Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0 -

Good post Lopo! The only problem I have is finding a bloody post office! In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Smaller prizes for August are now live on the checker (http://www.nsandi.com/). Single £50 for me!
Good luck all!0 -
Only £50 for me this month.0

Very odd. Had £1k for the past 36 months, no wins. Sent repayment form in 3 weeks ago and asked for repayment immediately after this months draw, and I've just won £100 :T
(BUT that £1k could have earned £165 assuming a constant rate of 5.5% over 3 years in a savings account )

'Poxy' 100 notes for me, still it's better than the usual £50!0

Now that's what you call a good return
£1,000,000 114TK698806 £29,991 Nottinghamshire £5,000 Sep-06
This millionaire got greedy and won £5,000 too!!! (Have the same holding and area, Nottingham £29,991 holding, no coincidence I think)
£5,000 75KE944318 £29,991 Nottingham £5,000 Jun-01
EDIT: At this time of typing, this thread has been viewed 133333 times! But I didn't win that much, I won £50 with a £1090 holding, so not a bad return. But, this guy above could have let the £5,000 go elsewhere!I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.
