Small typo of a missing digit in the Total prizes row for May 2024 - should be 5,88[0-9],574, rather than 5,88,574

There's also a missing £ before the 500 prize.2

Was this hand-typed/edited by someone who didn't then proof-read it?You got it - and [I guess that] it is probably a six between the two eights that was never typed - or spotted as a typo - despite the glaringly obvious misformatting of the commas. It is the implications, though. The table looks very convincing- but it is wrong.Classic NS&I lack of care, though. A few years ago I used NS&I's boss, HM Treasury, to force NS&I to provide correct Certificates of Interest Paid during a particular tax year. NS&I sent me set after set of Certificates. They never got them right - and their final excuse was that the Certificates had had to be calculated by staff members, so were more subject to human error. It doesn't look like things have improved since - and they're still getting the Certificates of Interest Paid wrong.

AND the columns of numbers are, against all common practice, left-justified.

While we are bashing NS&I, surely it's about time they started announcing the entirety of the prizes on the first working day of the month3

Just cruising through the winner list in hope, rapidly developing into disappointment, I spotted this one near the top - just goes to show that a small holding playing the long game can come out on top:
Prize: £100,000 [Bond No.] Total holding: £300 Berkshire Bond Value: £300 Purchased: Aug-98
Someone else with £100 holding for 8 years won £50k and £118 since 1974 won £25k. I always feel that those are the ones that will make most difference - possibly bought for children and forgotten about.1 -

Not sure if this comment is tongue in cheek but irrespective of when prizes are announced I think you will find that NS&I admin is mostly contracted out to the private sector. So these 'civil servants' working from home don't even exist.

Does anyone else hold an uncommon number of bonds e.g. 49991 to make it easier to locate themselves (or not!) in the big winners list each month?0
