If withdrawing the month before there is an option to defer until after the next draw. However ticking that box for a withdrawal on the 1st of the month will defer the withdrawal until the following month, even when the draw hasn't actually take place yet.
Does anyone know this for sure or able to find the information on the NS&I website?
I too assumed that ticking the "defer until after next draw" option would mean they would then stay in for the August draw - which wasn't what I wanted!Makes not a jot of difference in reality - they were always coming out anyway, so we will see this as a parting gift from NS&I, and at the moment, we've decided to leave it there to give us a head start when we decide to start adding to the account again in the future!

Only £25 again for me and £50 for other half this month. We both have the full 50k holding each. I have already opted to transfer out, leaving only £1000 in. Other half still trying to decide whether to go or stay 🙄1

£200 on my (now reduced) holding of £30K. 6% over the past 6 months. My husband (with 50K) less happy... I think he mentioned £50. He's wavering.......#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3662

Nothing this month on a £3,000 holding, but I won £100 last month so not complaining. Out of interest, if loads of people cash in their bonds as they’re saying here they might do so that there are fewer bonds for Ernie to pick from, does that raise the likelihood of winning for the people who remain?0

Personally we have maxed out our ISAs this year and are having to be careful not to go over the tax limit from general savings. So Premium Bonds will remain part of our savings for the rest of this financial year at a minimum, though they are by a distance our lowest earner, even though we're running at slightly above the average prize rate.0 -
£25 on a £32k holding.
