Both me and hubby have max holdings, and neither of us got a penny this month ! Disappointing, all I got was a cryptic message, saying, buying in blocks don’t help, just buy more !josh33 said:Now it's updated. Zero prizes for myself, the wife and daughter (combined £150k). Incredibly bad luck? The probability of winning nothing across £150k is 0.2% per month...

You keep posting that people are stupid for holding premium bonds, but they are still very suitable to lots of people for various reasons that have already been posted on this forum.gussie5555 said:Swipe said:
This video pretty much sums Premium Bonds up:jaceyboy said:My wife has £50k and I have £41k in Premium Bonds, we win normally around £100-150 each per month, would I be better off putting £91k into something else?

Excellent Video - When Interest Rates were 1% and below Premium bonds made sense - but not anymore. I've only held a max holding for around three years and for the first two years I came out on top but the last six months no way could I match what I could get from normal savings accounts - there really should be a stampede to get out of Premium Bonds now - but as the guy said our brains just don't let us see the truth! The only reason I'm waiting one more month is that I can see the BOE increasing rates on June 22nd again and 1 year fixed bonds paying over 5.5% will become available and I know where my 50k should be sitting then !5 -
Only a disappointing £25 for me and £50 for the other half, both have full 50k each.
