It,s good reading that some people have had some nice wins. January is such a dreary month. Nice surprises do help to brighten it up a little.3

It brightened my day to discover a £100 win this morning. I might celebrate by turning the heat on.Primrose said:It,s good reading that some people have had some nice wins. January is such a dreary month. Nice surprises do help to brighten it up a little.6 -

Interesting to read about winnings on PBs especially those of you who have the full holding. I only have £2800 mostly bought in last 2 years although there are £5 worth bought more than 50 years ago. I have won £25 x3 in June 2022, Dec 2022 and January 2023 so I think I have done quite well compared to interest rates last year.2025 Decluttering Campaign 1112/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅🏅) 🌟🌟🌟

I won £150 this month on a holding of £31500, and a total of £950 since September 2021. I've drip fed into bonds for about 4 years, so I really can't complain on that return.0

Question:
When I look at the winning bonds, one of the categories is "Bond Value". Does anyone know what this means?
For example in the Jan winners, the person won £1m, with a holding of £50k, and "Bond Value" of £20k. What does that mean?
