Wondering if I should cash in what I have and then buy newer ones  - but logic says it shouldnt make a difference but every month when i look at the list i feel like newer bonds seem to win more.  Silly right?
Not silly at all, it's because there are far more "new" bonds than "old" ones so since all bonds have an equal chance of winning you would expect newer bonds to occur more frequently than older ones.

I was shocked that the high value winners results were online so early this morning, I always thought draw was at 8am.

IIRC the "draw" is done some days before the start of the month to allow the process of audit and checking to be done before the results are published.

I've always assumed the drumroll build up to the results coming out was purely for marketing purposes, to gloss over the humdrum routine of generating random numbers and checking them for matches with bond numbers.

(sorry if this spoils anyone's fun or excitement)

Has anybody on here ever checked the high value list and spotted one of their bonds on it?
Not yet but had a Whoa! moment today when I checked. Right area, right bond value, right bought date...but different bond numbers.

You can play around with the high number list, which makes it easier to see if you. Have won.
Her is a lust of holdings starting with the lowest. Interesting reading.
