The site always was busy on results day, but the additional security overlay appears to have sent it over the edge this morning.

Oh and to those who are having issues with the site, I just used the same premium bond checker app as usual. Very quick, no changes from last time.

won nothing for months and was considering selling them all - but since the rate was increased that’s £100 won in two months

Will still be looking to take my money out at some point this year unless NS&I increase their annual prize rate.

It's why you see some people who grumble at winning £25 on a full £50k holding when others win 4 x £25 on a £10k holding (or something similar) - it's the luck of the draw (even if a number of theorists seem to believe that newer bonds have a better chance of winning than older bonds - or other such ideas...)

The only time I grumble is when I draw a blank on my max holding
