Those statements aren't mutually exclusive - increasing your holdings undoubtedly improves your chances of winning, but the draw is still random.

OH first draw on 40K £575, whereas nothing for me on 10k first draw. The problem is I cannot even get passed initial page once signed on to confirm where I receive the prize monies to, due to a IT fault their end.
