I am thinking the same. I never bothered much but as I won 3 times in 4 months I am expecting too much I thinkLornrussell said:I feel it's worse when you win your first one - I had £100 in January, £25 in February and because I've started so well I have high expectations that'll probably leave me disappointed at midnight tonight! 😂Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -
The prizes for this month have been autoinvested & show on accounts now, nice £500 prize today, that takes me to £550 in prizes on £25 grand over 3 draws1

It says one day to go on the prize checker, I can see no prizes on my account so assume I have won nothing.gary83 said:The prizes for this month have been autoinvested & show on accounts now, nice £500 prize today, that takes me to £550 in prizes on £25 grand over 3 draws0 -

Last two months the prize checker updated a fair few hours before my account did, and I didn't get the reinvest email until about a day later - so you never know![Deleted User] said:

Looking at the March Prize Checker one of the £1,000,000 prizes was won with a £12,000 bond and one of the £100,000 was won with a £200 bond.So all the hogwash about needing to buy a block of £50,000 bonds to have a decent chance of winning doesn’t seem supported.
One of the million pound winners is from Bristol. Does that mean if I move to Bristol I have a better chance of winning a million or does it mean that a bond holder living in Bristol stands a better chance of winning a million in the future if they move away from Bristol.
My personal quirk about odds of winning is that I seem to only win a prize when I cash in nearly all my bonds and then it seems to wake up the rest of my holding before becoming dormant again.
I’m beginning to think it’s all random

It's like a village raffle with 100 tickets - if you buy 30 tickets then you have an "increased chance" of winning, but then the old granny at the back with 1 single ticket might win and beat you to it!Yorkshire_Pud said:So all the hogwash about needing to buy a block of £50,000 bonds to have a decent chance of winning doesn’t seem supported.

Having followed this thread for around 18 months it seems as though there has been more larger prizes won and mentioned here in the last 4 months than the 14 months previous to thatMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...0 -
Yes that's what appears to have happened - I'm not entirely sure that everyone who claims to have won (a) larger prize(s) here in the last few months will actually have won (a) prize(s) as large in value as they claim in reality!annabanana82 said:Having followed this thread for around 18 months it seems as though there has been more larger prizes won and mentioned here in the last 4 months than the 14 months previous to that1 -
Yes but what if she’s YOUR granny, more likely because it’s a village raffle!? Look after granny.josh33 said:
