in principle at least you could download a list of all winning bond numbers for each of the last six months from here:annabanana82 said:I have a block of £49,700 and I've had several months in the last 16 months without wins so don't think there is any advantage to having one large block.
Trouble with changing them is you'll never know what you would have won had you of left as is

and then cross-check with the bonds that you previously held, although in view of the vast numbers of bonds involved, not perhaps a project to be undertaken lightly!0 -
I can tell from the number of the bonds which are new and which are old there was over 10 years between buying the 300 and the rest.d63 said:

On the older bonds I have won £75 in the time I have had those, but no prizes for nearly 2 years
The point of my post was more to show the flip side to those thinking that a 50,000 block doesn't always result in a prize in a month.
It really is down to the luck of the drawMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

'Previously' held bonds would not appear in any future winning lists, if that's what you mean. Once sold, that's it, they are not re-used. As part of the random draw process they may actually get drawn again, but would be recognised as sold and discarded.d63 said:

Bonds purchased in December wouldn't have been in the January draw though.Nantwichterrier01 said:Purchased max amount in December, £250 January and also in February1 -
I'm making an educated guess that the max. amount was purchased right at the end of November and that £25 was won in both January and February in this case. With the present interest rate of 1% AER and prizewinning odds of 34500 to 1, the chances of winning £250 in both January and February are very very low indeed!Nantwichterrier01 said:Purchased max amount in December, £250 January and also in February0 -
I have won £675 in the last six months with just under £22,000 invested. I won £500 and a £25 this month which helped...0
