Well pardon me for posting facts in response to an opinion misrepresented as fact!

    £75 (3 x £25) on 50K
Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk
  • So the first draw they were eligible for was Oct 17 and this is what I’ve won...
    Oct 17 - zero
    Nov 17 - zero
    Dec 17 - £25
    Jan 18 - zero
    Feb 18 - £25
    Mar 18 - zero
Apr, May, Jun, Jul 18 - zero
    Aug 18 - £75 (3 x £25)
    Total £150
I’m pleased with that. Interestingly the bonds that won were all from the £11,000 block.
  • By the way I have £11,575 in total
  • Oh, I won in Mar 18 - £25

Yes of course the chance of a newer number winning is much higher than an older number in Any Given draw simply because there are a lot more newer bonds and a lot fewer older ones

Date of purchase is not fed into the random number generator earnie

I find the opposite.....I've won £300 since Feb and it has all been from old blocks, but yes, from larger blocks rather than smaller blocks....

If a blindfolded man with a loaded machine gun pulls the trigger while standing in a room full of animals, he is more likely to hit an elephant than an ant. ;)

Ants eat elephants, but not vice versa. So he'd have to be quick with that machine gun if he didn't want to be trampled to death by a terrified elephant. :)

  • Just wondered how Ernie knows when to stop generating the numbers? What if it generates numbers that are not valid bond numbers?
